These guys are great for Rhynio taming (they work as a suitable host.)

This dinosaur is not from the start of the game as put in the info, because if you attack 1 and there are others, the others will attack you too.

Tamed one can defeat a rex.

Real, just try to not get rex near the trike, attack he and knockback, repeat

[Trike] – "waits before rex CAN'T attack, but he can"

[Rex] – " Can't attack, but can be attacked"

Be carefull they have a lot of kockback

i found out that i can do the the dash attack and get a crazy amount of thatch and wood

like in 5m i got 4000 thatch and 700 wood

The trike is really easy to tame and find, in fact after 2 hours of reading wiki it was my first dino. Not dodo, not parasaur, not dilo, not moschops(I’m in mobile moschops are useless)

As a early tame it is awesome as it is quite fast and has amazing damage. It is quite tanky and harvests a lot of berries.

Now for uses:

Transportation: a strong & moderately fast mount that provides food and materials on the way

Berry: farms way way more than parasaur or iguano, and faster than anky stego.

Turret soaker: the dmg reduction on head is amazing.

In conclusion in the early game 2nd best tame after moschops

How tf is this Dino popular I play ark I never seen anyone use this dino or ridden it I seen tamed one but not used

I don’t understand why no one talks about how great it is gathering thatch when charging

So triceratops are awesome, easily tamed even at lower levels they are by far thee best beginners tame for a variety of reasons, for one they are as tough as they look, these guys do great damage and have an amazing knock back which allows them to easily take on even packs of raptors and at higher levels almost any carnivore that isn’t a giga, aside from being an amazing fighter they also gather loads of berries and thatch, have pretty good carry weight take reduced damage from the front and have a special charge attack that can cover a lot of ground very quickly and stun targets

You can get like 4 :/ wood and 1000 :) thatch

How do you hatch the eggs? I don’t really understand how to “incubate” them.

In terms of early game takes, the trike CANNOT be beat. It offers decent protection from anything smaller then an allo and makes getting narcotics very easy. Also charge into trees for insane amounts of thatch, not left click but the right click charge.

Karkinos can’t pick up a trike so tame on aberration and sick them on the crabs a pack of 5 should do

These are beasts I have a base in a dangerous area and I bred all my trikes now I have 7 and they can kill ANYTHING. One time I was exploring on a trike called tiny and all of a sudden we were being attacked by the ALPHA RAPTOR She killed him along with 5 dilos. TINY FOREVER

Charge to put stun effect on small to medium dinos. Has a small def and dmg buff when fighting rex, spino, giga. Major dmg reduction to face good for light soaking. Takes normal dmg to everything thats not the face. Sluggish. Can get picked by quetz. Deinosuchus can latch on. Raptors can pin you off. Good at getting thatch, berries. Important dino to have when starting.

Never forget about the request function when you click/tap your tames in your inventory, cant find your tame? Request it, although it does drop all the current items that tame has,(excluding the saddle it has equipped) it’s good for retrieving tames that you cant seem to find, also keep in mind that the request function has a little timer bar to when the tame gets teleported to you.

I have five low level trikes. Fear me.

These guys don’t even have to be tamed to be useful.

Jump on the back of a Carbonemys and then onto the back of a Trike while it’s nearby, aim for the gap in between the two spikes on it’s head and there you go, you’re riding a wild Trike
