Find a trike near accessible rocks (not too accessible)

Shoot, shoot, shoot until unconscious

Put berries, kibble, crops, or whatever else you can use for taming

Wait, and check inventory once in a while

When taming a triceratops, always have the high ground

I tranq one and was taming it... they really really like rock carrots so when taming them don’t forget them!!!

find a level 20ish alone and shoot it with some tranq arrows, no trap needed if it's low level. only needs like 5 but pack extra in case you miss or hit its head. goes down in a few shots, don't shoot its head because the torpor your arrow does is reduced like crazy compared to the body. tames fairly quick, just shoot down dilos and the like before they aggro and kill it.

To tame:

Materials: 8 Wooden fence foundations, 8 wood door frames, slingshot, mejoberries, simple bed.

Next lay down the bed and go to sleep for 7 hours. (Only works in single player)

1. Lay the fence foundations down in a 2x2 grid and put dirt frames on every one but the two facing the trike. 2. Hit the trike and lead it through the trap. 3. Lay down the two final floor frames and start slingshotting it’s body. 4. Due to sleeping the food bar should be at zero put the berries in and it should tame almost immediately.

Well it took me 5 HOURS ,I managed to knock out a 180 trike without a TRAP ,I don’t know if you know how hard this is it is ridiculously hard

It’s can be easy to tame trikes, but for me, the area where they all are they team up together, so you attack one, you attack up to 3 or more. One on its own can be quite easy to tame/kill, but whatch out for nearby backup from other trikes.

Just lead the into a 4x4 trap and knock the out using tranq arrows

You can tame them with mejoberries if you want, juwt check on them in a while not frequently as they have low torpor drain rate

Make sure you find a chunky rock or the trike will, in fact, charge you, they also runaway right before knocking out so don't let yours run into water pass out and drown!! :( rip lvl 150 trike

You can knock these out with a slingshot, but it takes a while and is dangerous unless you climb up a large rock or cliff.

Today I will explain to you how to tame a trike! But first let’s get packed!

TRAP: You will need a trap! I suggest using wood door frames so you can shoot the trike! Make a ramp and like I said use door frames instead of walls so you can escape without being trapped and killed and so you can shoot the trike!

TAMING FOODS: Bring narcotics but you will most likely not need them! and lots of narco berries! You can use crops but I use berries!

TAMING: Stand at the top of the wood ramp and shoot the trike with your crossbow or just a plain bow and tranq arrows! The

trike will aggro on you and will follow you! When it gets close run into the trap and out of a wooden door frame! The trike will get into the trap and will get stuck! Then it’s the easy bit! Just shoot it with tranqs until it gets knocked out and put in your taming food options!

PATIENCE IS KEY: wait for the trike to take its merry time in inhaling down the food like a greedy baby with a lollipop- and then you have it! Give it an awesome name and there you have it a trike!

NAME SUGGESTIONS: name suggestion time because I am built different! Ahem.. Bull, Horn, Devil, Bulldozer, Destroyer of Worlds, Destruction, Stampede, Rodeo!! I CAME UP WITH THESE NAMES SO THEY ARE A LITTLE RANDOM-…

USES: They are amazing for large amounts of thatch! And smaller portions of wood! They also collect more berries then you can and are op! I have once seen 2-3 trikes take down a sarco! They are amazing for defending your bases and are proven to be useful when locating for a new base area!

EXTRA: You can not use a bola on them! They will aggro on you if you do and after that you know the rest!

So what you do is get a lot of the purple berries and those black ish berries. Go on a higher rock that the trike cannot get to u. Use a slingshot and aim near the body. The head has too much armor on it and cannot knock it out. The body is the most Vulnerable. The black ish berries will make its Unconsciousness go up and it saves you a good amount of time to tame it. I hope this info was good enough!

For all the starters out there.Whenever you are trying to tame this kind of dinosaur all you have to do is get at least 30 to 40 rocks and 2 slingshots incase the other one break.From there you can get into a very steep hill it will not be able to get up and throw the rocks but if shoot it’s head,It will get reduced damage so I recommend you shoot the body, then you can feed it any type of berry you want. I nice first tame but can kill you fast in groups

Just get on a ledge. If you can’t climb it they can’t. Find a way to get up to the top of the ledge and tranq it with tranq arrows. Very simple tame.

The torpor on a trike drops in a pattern of .3, .4, .1 and repeats over and over until it wakes up! Be safe hunters!

A level 1 can be knocked out with 3 tranq darts

Guys it’s easy no trap needed if you are taming a low level and are too lazy to build a trap just tame a level 3 or 5 it will be down with tranq arrows in like 10 secs or 20 if you don’t have strategy and it eats berry’s

So I was reading these comments and I thought I could tame a trike, things ended horribly. I knew I needed tranq arrows, so I got them, I knew I needed narco berries, so I got them. I wrote down a whole ass paper and pencil plan. My brother doubted me, but I didn’t care, I should’ve. I thought to myself, “I am ready.” Oh but you weren’t my friend. I went out found a trike and shot it thinking it would be easy. I went to get berries and I was yeeted into outer space. I was not backing down, I tried again, died. And I kept trying until I lost my home, my dilox2, dodox2, and my parasaur. I now am terrified.

If they walk by your bed you can attack die respawn and keep doing that till it starts running then knock it out
