GET ON HIGHER GROUND! A trike’s climbing ability is awful! Make sure you bring plenty of Narcoberries and Mejoberries. Great start-mid game tame. I tamed a level six female using this method, with tranq arrows & bow. Good luck :]

Step 1: get 10 or more tranquilizer arrows step 2: go on a tall rock so it can’t hurt you step 3: shoot it at the body WARNING DON’T DO IT AT THE HEAD OR YOUR JUST WASTING YOUR ARROW step 4 give it narcotics and berries BOOM you tamed a trike up = 1 noob turning into a pro

This is my low level way to tame a trike:

1) get a slingshot, the resources to repair it, mejoberries, narcoberries, and a bunch of rocks (I prefer at least 200)

2) go to a beach with one and find a large rock he can’t climb (make sure it is very steep)

3) shoot him anywhere but the head (he won’t get knocked out if you shoot him in the head) while on the rock

4) when he is knocked out, give him the mejoberries and narco berries and let him eat (do not force feed him unless he is running out of torpor then you can feed him the narcoberries)

Boom you got a trike

Things to remember about the Trike:

-Do not pick up it's egg (or any other dino's egg if the parent is near)

-Do not aim for the head, aim for the body

-Tranq Arrows seem to work better than slingshots (but if you want to use slingshots, be sure to bring tons of stone)

The best way to knock trikes out is with tranq arrows and the best way to kill them is with wooden spikes.

How to tame a trike first get some knockout arrows 2 then find a trike 3 build a trap or get where you can’t get you 4 shoot arrows at trike and feed him or her berries 5 you got a trike

So I’m totally new on this game. No idea what to do and how to survive, also died a lot but taming a trike is one of my biggest goal since it’s my favorite dinosaur and of course it’s like a freaking tank. So I watched on YouTube and read some here too and most of the time it suggests to make alot of effort so I did my own way. This is how I did:

Needs:

Narcotics (MINIMUM OF 10)

Amarberry (ATLEAST A 100 TO BE SURE)

Bow and Arrow (Only shoot twice)

Slingshot

How:

So first of I’ll find myself a Trike. Not sure if this is gonna work on much more higher and stronger level trikes but I tamed a level 10. After I have my eyes on my target I set myself on a much more higher ground like a rock so a trike can’t reach me. If all set shoot the trike twice until its life is depleted (dont use anymore since they might die) after that switch to your slingshot and just throw some rocks on it until it has little more life (keep this in mind that you need to beat it carefully). Trike’s are stubborn they will rather die than to be tamed so they might run even though they are close to death so let them run and regenerate some health then just hit them with a club until it will fall unconscious. Put all the amarberry on its inventory and watch out for the unconscious bar so use narcostics to fill it in. This way you can just watch it be tamed. In my experience it took overnight to be tamed since each amarberry gives 2-4% so be ready get your meat and campfire to set on besides your newly tank:)

Very easy tame. Stand on a large stone and shoot stone or tranquilizer arrows.

I would say to get tranq darts and stand on top of a rock and shoot down on it. If you are a early beginner this a good tactic. 🦖

Shoot at the belly not the head where there is extra protection and don’t make that mistake like I did and it took me 30 minutes to knock it out

The best way for me to do it right now is with bow and arrow or slingshot

So to tame one of these big boy chonkers you will need slingshot 40 to 80 rocks if the trike is around lvl 5 to 30 also make sure you spare slingshots . Make sure no other trike is around.and then go on a high ledge and start pelting the trike until it gets knocked out. The access it's inventory using and put around 40 to 100 purple berries with some spare berries and narrow just in case and don't forget 5o protect it until it wakes up. Nice you just got your first trike now to these guys will defend you and protect your base. up to recommend to beginners. Have a nice day 😊

Don’t tranq them out when there getting ready to charge or the will be stuck for ever and the will just keep getting ready to charge I just found this bug so I don’t know if there’s a way to fix it but be careful when taming a trike

Headshots on trike is really everything that isn't the head. This is because it's head is a shield. If it is charging then arm for the legs that how I got my level ten with 13 arrows.

For noobs, don’t use normal bolas. Only chain Bola affect it

To tame a trike u need a 2by2 wood foundation with door frames enclosing all sides then a ramp going up to the top step1 done.

Step 2 lead your chosen trike by hitting the trike and waiting for it to charge but make sure you are on the ramp facing away from the cage

and……..facing it when it charges from the opposite direction through the door frames it will fall down in to the floor then you can start to shoot it with traq arrows. I name my first trike spike you have the freedom to name it anything:)

You should find a rock and run around it while you shoot the trike, with this method you can easily knock it out with a slingshot

Little tip if your low level don’t hit a trike and run they will catch you

You can make a trap then knock it out with tranq arrows. They are great beginner tames but mine always disappear or die. 😱😱😱
