These guys are really useful, especially for beginners, for collecting berries, thatch, wood and crops. I personally tamed mine by climbing on a rock where it can't reach me and knock it out with a slingshot or tranq arrows!

Tintoberries work well for taming but kill the taming effectiveness

Here's how to tame a triceratops:

1. Definitely don't bola it.

2. I recommend building a trap using stone structures. Like a 4 by 6 foundation, and doorframes for the walls, make it 3 doorframes high. And build some ramps so you can lead the trike into the trap.

3. Shoot it with a tranquilizing ammo like tranq arrows or certain darts.

4. After it's knocked out, feed it berries, veggies, or preferred kibbles.

The easiest taming dino it can be tamed with a slingshot and its saddle is very cheap it cant be paralyzed by bola but u can get on a rock and knock him and if u want faster tranq don't hit his head

People make it way more harder than it needs to be you just aggravate one run up a hill and because its slow, move to a part where it can't get you

Get trank arrow and shoot but stay at a distance and make sure not to get attacked then once knocked out put berry's in inventory.

DONT USE A SLINGSHOT. USE TRANQ ARROWS. Once you hit then with one rock they turn around and it’s hard to hit them anywhere else but the head (they have extra protection there so takes longer to knock out). Climb up a rock where the trike can’t get you and shoot like 5-7 tranq arrows and it’ll be knocked out. Feed berries or kibble to tame

(I know you can also trap it but this takes way les time)

Tranq it out with your slingshot bow Etc

(Dont shoot it in the head it want tranq it as much)

Put the Berries/Veggies in the Trike

The main uses for the Trike is being a tank because of his head (His head has reduced damage) and getting berries.

Has anyone kibble tamed a trike? Ever?

To tame, you have to knock out. The trike is dangerous and can be a pain to tame. You can use anything but it’s recommended to use ranged stuff like slingshots or tranqs. Traps can be used as wooden dinogates or the terrain to get it stuck. It eats plants and prefers simple kibble.

Don't Attempt to tame unless you have some dinosaurs incase something goes wrong

1) these bad boys are very dangerous. There are three variants you can tame: Normal, Tek, and X. Normal can be found pretty much on every map. Tek is only in G1 and is in the lunar the most dangerous biome ever. The X is also a G1 creature found only in the magma of G1 and Fjordur.

2) Lock your bad boy up!!! Do it in a 2x2\2x2 doorframe made out of stone! If wood he will break free! ⛓️‍💥 make a ramp for the dude to fall in your trap.

3) tranq it to death!!! Do not kill it!!! Save his life and KO him.

4) feed berries and 123… 💥 he’s yours!

E) u can use a large bear trap that will get it stuck. Look for a good level.

for tsming these you only need 4 thatch foundation and 8 doorways a bola and a club trap the trike and bola it so it doesn't move then start hitting it with the club until it's out
