To tame get them stuck on a tree then trank.

I tamed a level 40 one with 1125 health with just about 30 or so rockarrots and it took only 30 or so minutes. If you have a medium crop plot, alot of space around your part of the island, a crossbow, and about 30 or so tranq arrows, you are perfectly set for taming a big one. Recommend getting all female tames of all animals because they’ll constantly give you free eggs

If you want a war Dino then upgrade health and attack. Traveler? Do health and speed and stamina. Collecting?They good with wood and thach too

The most easy and effective way I've found to knock out these guys is to get five billboards,and make a square lead it into the square of billboards place the fifth one behind it and boom it's trapped! Tranq it out and these guys love megoberries!!

Use do you like green arrows to help you when you are knocking out the trike because they helped me because I tried it and the trike ran away from me basically after a bit

I tamed one of these with just a sling shot and bolas, make sure you have 2-3 bolas to keep it from running fast. And just keep launching stones at it, will take a bit but easier if you don’t have tranq arrows.

The purple berries are the best for taming

A bola will not work on these guys. First shoot a tranq arrow into its butt and keep trying to shoot its butt. When it turns it will try to hit you. Do not try and fire tranqs into the head because it has armor on the head. When it is running toward you fire the tranqs into its feet. If it charges at you run for your life in all directions. Once it had high torpor it will try to flee. Fire a bunch of tranqs into its butt before it gets knocked out in water where piranhas will eat it or in the woods where raptors will eat it. Once it’s knocked out throw a bunch of mejoberries into it until it’s tamed. Keep an eye on it so a dilo or raptor doesn’t try to eat it.

Get 100 rocks and stand on top of a rock and shoot it with your slingshot

The only way that I have knocked dem out so far is by using tranq arrows

I tamed a lvl 16 trike when I was lvl 6. Honestly so easy just craft a slingshot, make sure you have enough ammo, I’d say around 40-60 rocks, get high up and shoot away!

Welp. I’m lvl 100 and I tamed a 290 it came out as a 434 I’m not sure why I tamed it I just did I’m gonna pump speed health and melee and name it frank the tank

I got mine early game because it was stuck between some trees and I kept on hitting it with a club

I bet many people did not know this but if you hit a trike on the head there is almost no torpor goes into it. So shoot it anywhere else but the head.

To knock one out stay far and use tranq darts or arrow or slingshot do not hide in your house or else say bye to all of your belongings

Use a slingshot, bait one to a open area, then keep on constantly running in circles around it while shooting it. Worked for me when I was level 5, and my trike is now level 56 aand can easily defeat a alpha raptor. Try to get one early game, so it can level easily as you level.

NEVER TAME TRIS IN GROUPS!!!!! I’ve done it before

Tried to tame it. Killed my All my animals.

I habe tamed a Tryke lvl 90 and have tamed him with my 300 % Bow . It was very easy but than i have gave him Mejoberies . He eat 112 beries .

You only need about 25 mejoberries to tame a lvl 8 trike. Up this so Dododex can fix
