You can teleport your tames to yourself

I accidentally had it paralyzed by a snake and fed it berries and it worked it was a level one I suggest if u don't have arrows get som that will paralyze it

Without question the best early tame. Taming one on hard mode makes the early game super easy as they can easily kill almost all predators, with the only 2 exceptions being rexes and gigas

A very good dinosaur to have at the start. It is rideable. You just need berries for these guys.

Get on a rock tranq it feed it mejoberry and use narco berries

If you need to tame a herbivore early game, bring a trike you will be able to collect enough mejo and narco berries in a few seconds.

If their head is glowing orange, get out of there! That means a spino or a rex is nearby. Although thats kinda hard to miss if a 5 ton megalizard is close

I have 2 of them, a pair that spawned near my base.

My taming tip: if there are rocks nearby that are taller than the Trike and you can jump up on; then shoot the Trike a few times with a Tranq arrow to get it mad and then run to the rock and climb it. Make sure you have plenty of Tranq arrows and then shoot away. Mejo berries are useful so if you have a bunch of those then that helps. If not then just put a bunch of random berries and keep topping them off until the Trike is tamed.

Run up to it, don't be afraid, bring 1-2 friends* and start tranq-ing it quickly, also, use 1 fast person as bait or a person on a paras air

*Depends on level

Even though they aren’t easy to tame early game, they will provide you with eternal protection and friendship until they pass on. Treat them the way they treat you

If you do you do chores go to person and then click them you can request them and they will teleport to you

I am sorta a beginner and just found this quick (ish) method. I did it on a level 9 trike.

Equipment: Narotics, bow, arrows, lots of berries (around 100 or something)

So what you do is you find one pretty far away from others and shoot is with about 2-4 arrows(with narcotics on them (forgot name)) and do this from a distance. Then put the berries in inv (might need a lot). And now you have your very own trike :)

In ark primitive plus you get the ability to make big stone fences which are to big for the trike to go over allowing you to attack it with a slingshot safely. You can jump over it if the trike ends up on there but he will get stuck allowing you to continue the attack. They can be built at level 10 and I was able to know 2 out before level 20 and am currently taking 2 trike solo.

The trike is a rediculously useful tame. Early on it gets Berry’s like a beast, so you will have no trouble taming other herbivores and you’ll never run out of narcos, and it can be used as a decent battle mount. To tame I recommend using tranq darts/arrows and going for lower head shots while standing far away. When it’s ko feed it a lot of berries, especially narcos.

Be sure to level up stamina, these things are slow.

i tamed these with the kibble on the volcano and it took 6 min tops

This guy is definitely what you need at beginer level. He could smash tree so fast only one hit, and then you gain the resources. Just find this big guy, lure them out to a big rocks, shoot them with slingshot, tame with berries and narcotics.
