I really recommend getting this Dino bcause of its knockback you could kill any alpha in the game with dis if use the knockback easily and plus it has a charge attack that which is pretty good in farming wood tatch and berries so yeah reccomended

Breed 2 one male and female, when they are mate boosted they defend better, 100% imprint + mate boosted is good damage and resistance boost.

One thing I have to give to the trike that not many don't. Yes the berries duh, but it's knock back. When timed right any level trike can kill any level Dino that is effected by it. And someone said but they are completely wrong the knock back does effect the Rex. I swear any level trike can kill a 150 Rex. Practice timing your shots. Make sure you use your stamina for the fight. With each knock back, move your trike back to gain alil more distance from the target. When it's coming back, stop, regain what lil stamina you can. My level 25 killed a 120 Rex. Practice practice practice as if you miss you shot and the Rex hits u. Your in trouble.

So i have a army of dilos and stuff but i wanted one of these guys cause they seem tuff when i was scared and checked some vids and my plan was to trap it in a wooden box so i made a 3x3 wooden box you can do a 2x2 also to save wood next you need about 100 stones and 2 - 4 sling shots and about 50 - 60 berries then make a door in the box and a ramp outside then beside the ramp a roof the plan is shot the trike and run up the ramp then out the door and the trike gets trapped on the inside once you do that shot the trike in the head so its more likely to live then once its knocked out its safe to jump in and give it any berries the tame process takes 1 night so i say do this right before night time then sleep after in the morning it should be about 83 % done this is what i did for a low lvl trike for a high lvl you might hav eto give narco berries and 200 stones + 10 sling shots pls like

Here’s a nice tip: When you grab a Trike’s egg, or any creature’s egg for that matter, [on mobile] you can quickly exit before the parent creature attacks you and then rejoin. When you get back you will find the egg in your inventory and the parent walking away. (Unless it’s a predator)

The best way to knock out early rounds is with slingshot. Later on its up to you.

Just a little reminder: DO NOT USE BOLA ON TRIKES, IT WILL NOT WORK! Instead use a slingshot if your skilled or trap it with wooden buildings

When tamed, it can do many things. It can harvest more berries and thatch than you. It can charge at your opponents stunning them like a micro-raptor. Its head is a shield for the rider and it takes reduced damage. When killed, you get the basics of meat and hide, but also keratin.

So what’s the best way to kill an alpha of these. I’m not very advanced and it just bugs me because it keeps blocking the entrance to my house, even if I move the entrance, like it knows. I’d like the most basic way of dealing with Alpha Trikes, please.

This was actually pretty simple! All you need is a good amount of berries + narc arrows

Shoot it with an arrow (NOT in the head, they are protected there) and it will aggro on you, hide behind some trees and the Trike almost always gets stuck! Keep shooting it until it knocks out, use a good amount of berries, and you should be good to go!

When I did this, I didn’t need to feed it any narcotics and it was at lvl 25 (so a pretty low level) hope this helped :))

Make a stone taming trap using door frames and foundations and ramps get the trike in there and start knocking it out

When tamed or in the wild, these Trike’s receive a rivalry pack buff if there is a threatening large predator nearby like the Rex, Giganotosaurus, And Spinosaurus(check the wiki for more large predators). This pack buff increases the Trike’s health and damage.

Let a tamed or wild dilo to poison it, then when the trike is poisoned its turn speed is a lot slower, so use this slow turning speed to keep using melee weapons to attack the trike

Once you tame one you can kill all the others because the knock back can prevent other trikes from even touching you.

So try it.

To knock out a trike u must have some arrows that will knock it put and remember to stand on a high rock

There charge gets more wood or thatch

Its charge attack in the new update is great for collecting thatch, can get well over 1k thatch in just one charge.

When taming, try to shoot its sides. It receives less torpor when hit in the head
