I took this things egg and it chased me for an HOUR… A LITERAL HOUR!

Do they share a special bond with dodos or what??? Because when I attack dodos in front if trike he attacks me!! And this happened multiple times... Anyone else???

In case you have difficulty with killing trikes, and you have leveled up to the point of firearms such as the shotgun, here is my advice.:

First of all, Triceratops have resistance to damage for their head, but nowhere else on the body, so if one is charging you, you can shoot it in the leg for massive damage.

Second of all, before engaging, move the the side of the trike, load your shotgun fully, and then shoot it twice in quick succession in the chest with the shotgun, followed up by a longneck rifle shot as well. Try to keep to its side profile so that it cannot attack you, but you can attack its unarmored spots.

Third of all, keep a large distance between you and it so that it cannot easily charge you and stun you, and so you can avoid the strike if it attempts to do so.

I recommend making a trap it’s way more easy than you think.

Remember, I almost killed my self because i did not have tranq arrows. I knocked it out with my club.

Ps you should use tranq arrows.

On Palm counseling if you hit it and there's nearby triceratops that means it will call them to help them out it's kind of like it's kind of like a special ability to call others to help

And then I knocked out another triceratops

On mobile, if you’re fighting the trike head on, shoot at the legs!! The head has damage reduction so less damage from ranged weapons. However the legs are really hard to hit so just use a melee if you have high health and armor.

Do not go in with only two dilos.One killed both of mine😢🪦. Up if you think they were brave

If you are a starter I’ll say not to touch the eggs or punch these trikes, unless ya have god console like me and if you need trike kibble like me who was begging for trike kibble for the last hour, I’d say not to touch or harm these beings.

Trikes keep attacking the spiked wall-

Inside the spiked wall is: 1 Argy, 1 Pulmonoscorpios, 2 Baryonyx, 5 Raptors, 1 Pteranodon, 1 Trike, 1 Ankylo, 1 Castroides, and a human.

I really wonder if they break the spiked wall and attack everything inside.

What you don’t want to do:

Accidentally hit one ( I was harvesting berries and we’ll you probs know the rest)

Take an egg (I learned this the hard way)

Kill something in front of it ( I killed a raptor and was harvesting its meat when the tragedy happened😭)

Anger one and lead it to your humble home.

There are a few tips you’ll probs thank me later 👌

Anyone else think they should get a herd bonus

I killed a triceratops you need a bow 120 arrows and a roak to stand on be shuur the triceratops get on or you are dead and make shoor there is not a nother one

Get a slingshot with about 40 rocks or more if you want to be safe and get on a rock.

Wild Trikes are a good natural protection from Raptors early game. See a Trike and Raptor fight = free hide!!

Shove trank arrows into it the tame

WARNING: do not battle this on a cliff if u are a new player. Even if ur far away from a cliff a trikes knockback and shear power will knock u to ur death. Also if u are on a rock trying to tranq it or slingshot it, beware!!! These bullies hav a lot of health AND can knock u off the rock even if ur a distance above these chunky fellows!!!!! I hope this helped any new players with an accidental encounter with a unhappy momma trike!
