For the record, Trikes are not stopped by primitive bolas. You were wrong... So very wrong... Maybe chain bolas might work but the hand helds are ineffective at stopping a charging Triceratops...

Very useful tame especially for the smaller tribes. If your a little bit built up tame high levels to get high levels and raising herdavores will be easy to raise.

A easy way to tame a trike is to get a bow and 5 or so tranq arrows get on top of a rock a just shoot from there.

The Skeletal strike is a tough encounter, cannot be tamed. You will get the Skeletal strike costume if you kill it, however it is stronger than most trikes

The best way to knock out a trike is to get it stuck on a ledge bellow you and just hit it with stone or if u have tranq arrows then those that's my way of taming one best way to do it if your a low level get it stuck somewhere

The triceratops is one of the easiest dino to tame in a early game. It's neutral so if you attack, it will fight back. But it is slow so you can run and shoot. Use a slingshot, don't waste arrows on it. Its saddle is at level 20

While getting chased by a Trike run toward trees and it might get stuck between two trees or change its path and give you a bit of time.

The best you can do to knock out the trike is to find a rock that only you can climb on then shoot the trike with a sling shot or tranq arrow and if he runs you follow and keep shooting him then retreat back to your rock so he comes back an keep doing that

Trike are very useful, they are 1 of the best animals for a noob to have . They get you berries and thw best way to tame one if you are a noob is to stand on a rock with a slingshot

I try to trap the trike but I'm too slow to trap the trike so I will try knocking out it with pachy I increased my pachy hp

so it works with carbonemys so I will try knocking out the trike with pachy soon

These guys are great for Rhynio taming (they work as a suitable host.)

It’s actually a lot more simple to tame these guys then I thought. I just used tranq arrows and some narcoberries on hand. I then ran up close enough the Trike and hit him with a tranq arrow the ran away until he stopped chasing me, then I ran back and shot him again, I repeated this process until he started running from me, then I could keep hitting him til he went down without having to run away. I put the narcoberries in and just waited. Viola, now you have a trike. (Note it took me about 12 arrows)
