This dino is a really helpful starter tame! Since they have the knockback effect, you can kill a therizino with them to protect your base :) I tamed one and it was really helpful! It helped me get rid of this pesky therizinosaur that was roaming really close to my very first/starting base!

Easy berry tame. Better kibble tame. Best early on. People may say it's more then it really is. It's slow. It's stamina sucks. And 2 Carno at once is gonna kill you and your tame. Keep it as a home body.

Use toxic trank arrows (and don't aim for the head)

If you don't find a cliff that you can use make a trap

Ingredients for trap:

2- wood floor

8- wood gate ways

2- wood ramps

(If it's lv 120 or 120+ get more arrows then recommended)

For level 9 people I’ve got a trap that is cheap and works.

Place two thatch foundations next to each other with the longer side pointing toward the trike

Then place a wall opposite the trike in the opposite long side and put a wall at the end

Like this (it’s hard to draw diagrams on this but the blocks are foundations and the other extra lines not touching the line in the middle of the brackets are walls.

Go up to the trike with the slingshot and lead it then jump through the gap leading of of the foundation so the trike will get stuck in it. Shoot till knocked, if it does escape run around the trap and trap it again.

P.S this only works if you don’t activate it’s charge

I found my trike stuck between trees so tamed him easily but if ur trike isnt stuck u will need a:atleast 15 tranq arrows, a trap that works, and not as much berries as u think cause I tamed mine with like 50 berries and thats all u need to know

Trikes have great good knock back, so long as you take pauses between hits, you can regenerate stamina. Also, if you need to, you can tank some hits if you need to. My trike was able to fend off some accidentally attacked pachytherium, and he still lives to this day. This can apply for creatures like titanoboa and raptors, so it’s a handy trait if you need to.

I found by climbing on a rock or being above on a mountain side I could shoot the animals, using near arrows and knock them out. Because I’m on higher ground they can not get to me. Once they are knifed out I runs down and place the berries in their bellies and wait for them to be tamed. Then I name them.

I jave a tric lvl 337 and really nothing (i mean it nothing) will can stand in your way spino hehe dead rex haha already dead and he is good swimmer too.

Just build a foundation 3 walls upland a ceiling and 2 ladders and there ya go a cheap shooting place btw it cant hit ya up there hope this helped have a nice time taming:)

You should tame a trike first thing early game to get you some narcoberries to make tranqs. You then use those tranqs to tame an argentavis. Hopefully you have a stone base by then and then you can start metal farming with the argent and keep your forges full good luck😉

When I fist began they scared me but after I got one myself I realized they are very slow . So I lured another one in between two trees and shot it down with some trank arrows.Very effective would recommend tho make sure to hit them while standing in front or they will turn around and get out of the trees. And aime for the feet , they take less damage from the head .

If you see an egg and a trike just leaving it then see what egg it is, do NOT pick it up if it’s the trikes unless you wanna die *squint* 🤨

How to tame a trike:

Step 1: find your perfect leveled trike

Step 2:climb on the biggest rock you find(make sure the trike cant climb on it)

Step 3: start hitting him with tranq arrows (or stone)

Step 4: hit till hes down

Step 5: put in narcoberrys and food for taming (i use mejoberrys)

Step 6: feed him untill hes tamed

There you have it.

To tame simply trap it with like 4 campfires or stand on a tall rock good for obsidian and metal runs if you don’t have a anky or rg.

just pump weight have raptors or dilos for protection

Nah nah nah guys listen to me, if you see a high lvl trike in a pack the easiest way to separate it is by getting on your pteranodon and walking into it, because the trike is passive it won’t attack and you will actually push it away far enough to tame it!!! give it an up so people can know this for low players

They are great at getting carrot and they are tanks but they are slow and have low stamina

I went after a dill when I was a noob and accidentally hit a trike lost all my games let’s before I finally brought it down, be very careful swinging punches near these guys

How to steal trike egg

Step one: jack an egg

Step two: run from nearby trikes

Step three: leave then rejoin
