Extremely OP early game tame

Triceratops are strong and tanks and they have a huge knock back which allows them to deal with huge treats(theri,raptor and sometimes even Rex's)

Don’t take eggs without proper weaponry. Bows are the best ranged weapon for combat early on.

If there head is glowing run cause there’s a spino/Rex in the area also these are pretty good mounts for starters

Triceratops is a very strong tame in early game, they can kill an Allo, Carno, Sarco, A pack of Argentavis, Megalodon, and anything that is strong, but only when you mount it. But Trike is very slow, so always upgrade their movement, make them follow you, and when you encounter a strong dino, mount the Trike and kill the dino.

If you have some trikes already tamed and want to start hunting strikes, it's easier to take them down with fire arms.

This(in my opinion) is the best at gathering thatch because you can use its charge attack and line up a bunch of of trees it charges them and gives you thousands of thatch in a matter of 10-15 seconds, then just wait for stamina to regenerate and rinse and repeat

So a tip to taming these guys is pretty simple.

1. Craft a bow/crossbow

2. Craft some narcotics and tranq arrows

3. Find one and gather about 100 berries

4. Climb a VERY tall rock

5. Shoot it. Try to get your shots on its back

6. When it is knocked out, put the berries and narcotics in it's inventory

7. Keep an eye an the torpor and only feed it narcotics if the torpor is low.

8. Equip a saddle and enjoy your new trike

Trike Can not smash Stone Walls

This is literally the best starter tame because of its ability to get berries, its decent weight and it is a relatively fast tame.

Don’t get it pissed off. It’s charge does serious damage…

When knocking this out go cross the water they are slow there so keep on shooting it with a bow or crossbow with tranq arrows

If your stuck thinking about how to do the trap and realise that your trike can't get out when you tame it just tear down a wall or two then rebuild them so you can use that trap ones more

What I recommend doing is getting at least two trikes (preferably one Male and one female to get a mate boost), then setting them at your base to serve as defense. If you do this, be sure to invest in melee damage and health. Don't forget to pick up a third trike for exploration purposes!

If you see their horn glowing red, just run because someone is cooking around you and the food might be you 😂

you don’t need to build all those traps and stuff that might take to long! First, you need to go up on a high rock, but make sure there’s only one around because if you attack one of them they all attack you, as I said go on a rock and make sure you have tranq arrows and just keep shooting it.

All you need is the high ground (they can clime so choose your spot wisely) half a dozen tranq arrows (or more depending on the lvl) ana a butt load of berries!

P.S. use the starving technique!!!

Tame a trike at start it will be high level once you are op

The best way to tame these bad boys (or girls!) is to get on a high rock ,where it can’t reach you, then bust a couple stones at it with a slingshot. They make great early-game mounts and decent pack hunters.

Also:

-I recommend getting a parasaur first because, if the tame goes wrong, you can outrun it.

- Don’t hit it’s head, it only takes about 15% of damage.

- Don’t try to kill it without a mount; IT’ll SHRED YOU.

with a high level one you can even kill alphas for XP

honestly this dude should be illegal its too good for such a low price

one of the thing no one talked about is the knock back if u kept pressing LMP ur enemy will not reach u but u can because of the knock back one time i killed 3 allos amd 2 rexs with that move
