They can definitely (and deftly) climb the rocks that I can climb.... just FYI.

When taming the Trike early game for berries stand on a ledge above it and use either a slingshot or tranq arrows to shot it in its body because the face takes significantly less torpor.

Get shotgun and fire at it's side it will kill it very fast

If you ever want to tame a trike, pick up one of it's eggs and go to your base, they'll upgrade it for you! 🥰

Very strong early-game dino. He can help you collect berry’s and thatch. To tame it it works best to either build a dino trap or stand on a big rock and just shoot it with trang arrows. It has a pretty powerfull charge attack and is just a cool dino overall.

Sup easy tame. Just make a stone trap 3x3 with 1 high walls and 2 wooden ramps. Get a flyer, mount flyer, hit it, and lead it into trap. Once it is in trap, just slingshot it WARNING: it will take about 100 rocks to tame 1! This also works for stego.

Its one of the best thatch collecters though dododex haven’t updated it yet. Trike also very good at getting berries. Its an easy and in my opinion required tame if u want to be good

This thing is a fossil and a dangerous 1 for everybody

You need to use soothing balm to go faster and some mojos and don’t shoot at its head with tranks he has protection but just put it to sleep with a trank about 40 or so just in case and get high ground and make sure that you only see one because the rest will kill you

I trapped myself in a nice rock cove that was too small for the trike to fit through and sling shot it until I knocked it out. It worked pretty well!

1. Get a slingshot

2. Find a Trike

3. Hit and run

4. Repeat step 3 until it falls

5. Use Berries to tame it

Trikes are 1 of the best for soaking bases they take reduced damage to the head

Need norco berries? Get a trike saddle and go plow down some bushes and kill animals with it and split the stacks to get spoiled meat and there you go tame sum thing with high torpor.

It's a great mushroom gatherer for aberration. 's if you get thirsty, use it for aquatic mushrooms to refill your water if there's no nearby

To knock out a triceratops is not as hard as most people think. You don't have to have tranq arrows, a simple slingshot will do too. And if you're afraid of it hitting you whilst trying to KO it, try to get it stuck. Eventually it will even run away from you, as it is not able to hit you anymore!

Tame a 130+ I hope you get lucky and manage to tame one with either, the max 1 or 2 stats being damage or health.

Invest only on those two stats, and you got yourself a Alpha Raptor and Carno killer. Amazing exp farming machine early on!

If there head is glowing run cause there’s a spino/Rex in the area also these are pretty good mounts for starters

Triceratops is a very strong tame in early game, they can kill an Allo, Carno, Sarco, A pack of Argentavis, Megalodon, and anything that is strong, but only when you mount it. But Trike is very slow, so always upgrade their movement, make them follow you, and when you encounter a strong dino, mount the Trike and kill the dino.

If you have some trikes already tamed and want to start hunting strikes, it's easier to take them down with fire arms.
