These guys are good for climbing and are pretty fast if you want to take someone out of the sky this is your tame

These things are great for climbing those snow biome mountains I always fall and die but as long as you're on this thing you don't take fall damage.

They take a while but they are well worth it, amazing tames

Very fast land mount with a good jump and brilliant for hide nd raw meat

Has a nice bleed and very good mobility.

P.S.: can murder smaller flyers with its pounce off walls/trees.

I bet they wont pull you off of a basil...

...I stand corrected.

Amazing tames on Scorched, I use them for all of my taming now :)

These things are great for hunting and raiding also traveling I got through red woods easier with a Thylo than a flyer

They can actually take reduced fall damage so use them if your bad with dinos like me!

Hugely versatile and great for gathering hide. Tested gathering today with a mate boosted, imprinted pack against an imprinted giga with 400% melee. Hands down went to thylas and not just because of mate boost. They gathered about 5x the amount in the same time, against the same kinds of dinos.

Best thing to do if u have dlc is go to scorched tame one and bring it across so much easier

I use mine for caving. By jumping while biting I avoid bat bites to my character and it helps dodge arthro venom. They are decently tall so it is more difficult for cave creatures to hit you.

I wish these guys where like the megalani

Thylas are the best for the carno island cave as they can climb walls

Really good tame for caves. Recommended

Tamed one of these on most maps since they're such beasts at clearing caves

These guys are absolutely perfect multi-purpose mounts! I use mine, Mars, for taming. Since you can use weapons on their backs, I recommend leveling health so they can soak damage while you tranq out whatever dino you're after from its back.

This thing legit is a buffed Sabertooth with a climbing ability and if you get pounced on by on of these your dead. The king of the redwoods is this guy. The entire reason while people won’t fly low or even go in redwood.

Have tendency to keep climbing when walls or gates end. If this happens, just stay calm, pretend you’re still on the wall and you can slowly and carefully slide down to avoid death and loss of mount
