Now, this was a given tame to me, so I know literally nothing about wild ones. I've never encountered one. Also take this with a grain of salt as the given one was a raised thylacoleo, so I could over exaggerate normal thylacoleo.
If you need some hide or meat, this guy is great. One of the best hunters in my opinion, as it's very fast, and it can climb up walls. Not even kidding.
It's jumps are huge (nothing compared to deinonychus a.k.a Raptor chicken)
Abilities that I know: Climbing (hold jump maybe? It's A for Xbox.) Growl (not sure if it does anything, press down right joystick for Xbox.)
And the normal attack. That's all I know for abilities.

More Thylacoleo Utility Tips
If their bleed kills something, they don't receive XP for it.
Absolutely brilliant and really useful. Would definitely recommend taming one of these. They have great attack damage, health is also great and they are soooo useful for getting around the island (really fast and really fun to ride)
If you need to fly though the redwoods get an argy and a parasaur on turret mode so u can see them in the trees
These things don't exist on mobile so don't waste your time looking for them.
Hey, donβt you guys think there should be a thyla tek saddle? I think there should be more tek saddles, bc thereβs only 5 rn when there could be a lot more. Plus, imagine what the ark devs could think of with a thyla tek saddle!
They do a slow drain bleeding attack now

They're useful for escaping places and getting food but when you get a Megalania then these guys just get left behind

Thylacoleo are capable of pinning down flyers in mid-flight (anything but the Quetz and Wyvern, I believe), other Thylacoleo, and even Therizinos. You can also jump from object to object by holding down the jump button while pouncing from a tree or cliff (have to hit it at the right angle, however).
These guys are amazing! Great HP, melee damage, stamina and also the ability to jump high an climb fast through vertical surfaces, totally recommended;)
