Why the hell can this beast of a tame only damage thatch like WHAT THE HELL!!

If you need pelt tame this creature when your lucky he gets 100 pelt per mammoth

Every time the Thylacoleo attacks something it does bleed damage which does 5% of any creatures health

These guys have tons of stamina and are the best dino for exploring and they are pretty good fighters as well just be careful on island as they will jump on your mount and kill em as well as you also they have a high torpidity drain so keep that in mind while taming

They get Organic poly like crazy On rag from killing mantis’s in the desert. WAYYYY Better then killing penguins on the island. They get over a 100 almost every time per mantis.

Easily the most useful creature I've ever tamed.

They are absolute beasts at everything. Jacks of all trades. And more.

They run faster than wolves and sabertooths, they have a weight stat that rivals rexes and mammoths, their health can be pushed higher than any wolf or saber as well, and can gather chitin/keratin at ridiculous amounts per kill, their damage rivals wolves and sabers, can knock down trees in 1-2 hits, they have what seems to be a nearly infinite stamina pool once levelled a few times, can climb any vertical surface in the wild and almost all built structures, can pounce from vertical surfaces to disable/damage mid to small-sized creatures, and can jump vertically, nearly 4 walls high making escapes easy; the list goes on.

70+ pelt per rhino. 70+ chitin per scorpion.

Just .. be careful. Be wary when you walk/fly into the redwoods.

Thylas are good travel dinos, and they have the ability to climb on trees (only the redwood trees sadly) and mountains. They also have a high jump. They also take reduced fall damage. They are also good scouting dinos due that they can climb tress as I said before.

Megalanias have low stats no bleed, thylas are literal titan killers, I never seen a lone rex kill a titanosaur even with a skilled rider. The comment was 100% frustration, 0% iq.

These are good for the mini boss fights on fjordur

They take very small falling damage, they can be dropped from the highest point of the map and loose less than 1000 HP

The meta to counter soakers in pvp.

Focus on hp when breeding. Their bleed effect is highest of all creatures in game

Great for caves and meat collecting

Thyla’s are the miniture giga’s, you can find them in the redwoods but i highly advise you to tame the ones in the desert. They are strong, fast, spiderman, and more, also the traps are insanly cheap so might aswell get one quickest possible.

Greatest tame in the game, defintley get one if you can get the kibble or mutton

If you upgrade this beast it can become a mount better than the raptor for many reasons you should not question unless you want to see what a thylacoleo might do to a raptor

If you live in redwoods and you are having war with other people tame these climb a tree and wait tell your freinds to do same and once your enemies come jump off grab them knock them out and put them in a metal cage in a room with pegos outside in case they have stuff and boom you have prisoners

When on scorched earth always bring a thyla for raiding as they can pin down Phoenix although Phoenix are rare they are able t9 be tamed and they are strong with a thyla it should be a piece of cake to kill a Phoenix but I have not actually tested this it’s just a thought as I don’t normally play on public servers especially on scorched

These things are no joke, they tear through a full pack of allos like they’re made of paper

Good for travel up and down cliffs or anything. Awesome tame. One of my favorites.

They can run up redwood trees and cliffs by pressing the jump button while facing the cliff/tree. They can also climb down again, they can pounce and they barely take fall damage. They can only climb up and down though, not left or right.
