Guys I found something out when I was taking a lvl 145 Thyla, I land may argie on a gate and fell off the Thyla however didn’t try eating me instead stood there looking at my argie so I took that opportunity to knock out. Don’t know if this works on everything but I play on mobile.

HE is annoying when you fly in Redwoods but when u tame him he is damn Great and for taming he Likes cooked meat more than Raw Good Luck taming him (if u plan to)

I tamed a new thyla and named it tai lung hes a beast his paws and half of his legs are white hes brown but i thought tai lung was the best name for him but he took me 1 hour and 20 mins but it was worth it im on Fjord and he was a lvl 150 he was a r thyla. If you ever want help getting a thylo and you play on Xbox, go to find someone in the friend category, then type babbyyodda ( who is my friend ) next friend him and message him to help you! BUT you will need resources before you start. The resources you will need are: 3-5 regular bear traps, a parasaur (newly tamed), a longneck rifle and 40-60 tranq darts. And once you complete all that then message my friend!

They are super annoying to tame but, can be done on Gen 2 much easier. There spawns R-thyla, just bring tranqs, narcotics, kibble/mutton then your set tek suits does the rest.

Don’t use cooked mutton for thyla on Nintendo switch, it prefers raw!!

On crystal isles u can just fly over them and pick them up right off the tree with a Wyvern and drop them in a trap

I’ve tamed them on the crystal map in the desert on a griffin and shot darts down and surrounded it with wood Spike walls. And I have used a snow owl in the red woods with bare traps. and I have used a trap to. I like to do bare traps just find 1with a snow owl or a flyer then place a row or 2 like this

The arrow is the thyla and ware you fly.

Use a Snow Owl with its predator vision thingy you can easily spot them on the red wood trees.

Take a rex in a cryopod with you to dispose of the low levels or use a good shotgun.

Net gun the one you want to tame and focus on headshots because it will knock them out quicker.

If you got a net gun you can shoot it at them to get out of their pounce grab

There always at the end of the griffin base both sides is where I’ve been finding them. Go get a bear trap if you have a griffin you can pick it up and put it in there if your on foot just walk to it get it angered and then place it. If you have a kibble mode and taming speed is all the way up I was able to tame in one bite and it was lvl 243

Ok, for all you nubs out there, these have a bleed attack and will pounce kn you, this has happened many many times to me, so please do be careful in your red wood exploring 😁 hope this helped a bit! I suggest to bring a stegosaurus for when you go to redwoods, you can’t get pounced! Bye! -Kira

Don’t even try to tame this in a way that is NOT trapping it.

Select a dino pump points to hp and tank it while shooting tranqs. Mostly works on everything except Gigas.

Thylacoleo is really not exist in ARK Mobile if you don't believe so search the saddle and please tell the developers for this and also alpha creatures and mossasour are very rare in ark mobile then pc.

Go to the desert build a wooden 2x2x2 trap with a ramp on on side the walls are doorframes bring an argy and look for thylo than carry it over to trap knock it out than feed it cool mutton or cooked meat or extraordinary kibble and force feed it narcotics or biotoxin than lift it out of the trap and put a saddle on it
