Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a thylacoleo? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a thylacoleo.
RELLY hard to survive in redwoods with these things but awesome mounts to tame just tame a argy and Pic one up and drop in cage shoot with tranq arrows it works I tamed Two at one its so easy and fun you get the COOLEST colliers good luck and don't die survivors!
Small bear traps work so you can knock it out!
I can’t pick a wild one up only tames ,,,,....?
Don’t be picky and just make Titanoboa kibble :p
Just fly around on a quetz plat saddle and fly below the branch line. You will spot a thyla and then shoot it with tranq darts. Feed it cooked meat and narcoberries if the torpor drops
They prefer and when I say this I mean it COOKED MEAT. Also you are gonna need lots of narcs I used 200-300 narcs and take like 500 marcoberries it helps so much by force feeding it these berries it makes there hunger go down which makes it wanna eat the cooked meat and speeds things up. Fastest way is using kibble plain and simple but if you like me then go for the first option.
You need to bee prepared for these things
Used the recommended kibble to tame it and it was taking forever! Switched it out with cooked lamb chop and it was up in no time!
If u put a bear trap under a thyla tree and the fly over the trap it will pounce on u and get stuck in the trap the u nail with tranks
We're finding that cooked prime meat is getting the job done well when it comes to starve taming these fuzzy guys
Currently a big bug with the kibble. I found a 150 on official KO d it. And put extraordinary kibble in it. Ate 1 it went up 0.6% .. I took it out. Had leftover titanboa before rework, and its supposed to work, it went up 0.4% on titanboa. I'd say atm they have no kibble or some are bugged .
Just fly higher then them and they won’t attack. I have tamed a lot of these and haven’t been knocked of my mount yet so stay above them and your fine pick them off the tree with argy or whatever you have that can carry it. Drop in a taming pin Easy tame
The taming times for the Thylo are wrong. It has taken me and my friend 5 hours to tame a level 135 with cooked meat. Taming with mutton on x1 increased taming by 0.9% and 0.4% with cooked meat. I get Thylos are amazing tames but preferred meat needs to change. Boa kibble is a very arduous method.
These guys are my favorite. They are quick and get over terrain. They are a solid mount. They are strong and fast. You can tame them by just getting some large bear traps. They can pounce on you and be careful flying in the redwoods. They will be in the trees and take you off your mount and kill you.
Babys take so much meat so rapidly make sure to have a finish inventory of meat if you have a baby and keep an eye on it!
Found in redwoods be careful they can take you of your mount and they come out of no where come prepared make sure you have lots of narcotics
When flying in redwood be aware that one may be hiding behind a tree. Best way if you're not using a trap or pen is to scout ahead of time and tranq on the ground then use flyer to gain distance. Find a vantage point and keep shooting it till it goes into flee mode. Once at that stage you can either wait till it returns or chase it with tranqs. Once downed use the starving method and focus on keeping it's torpor up. Once the appropriate amount of food has decreased use cooked prime, lamb or normal meat (COOKED). It should be a breeze from there. Once finished use the argy or quetz to carry it back to base, going on foot is suicide
I swear to god only kibble tame them and they can’t damage wood so use wood gates saves resources and Do Not Ever ever use tranq arrows only use darts
When trying to tame the thylacoleo you need a argentavis or something that can pick up a thylacoleo. Definitely bump up as much health on it as you can on it. build a 2x2 base with doors all around it so you can shoot it through the door frames. then grab the thylacoleo with your bird and put him in the little basebuild a 2x2 base with doors all around it so you can shoot it through the door frames.
I tamed one by getting it in water then climbing up onto a rock and using a long neck use a bow or boomerang or sling shot if your Lower level
Tame with either raw meat mutton or prime
