I used a 4 by four trap, 1:dropped it in with an argy. 2:Knocked it out. 3:Gave it prime meat, 4:fed it narcs. 5:Got more prime meat. 6:Repeat steps three four and five until it’s tamed.

Have a wyvern and land near a thyla. Shoot the thyla and let it agro, it will just circle your wyvern leaving you safe to shoot at it below.

Easy trap 9 stone foundations and small stone doorways. If you spot a thyla on a tree fly to its side on an argy you can snatch them right off the tree without being grabbed. Just don't be far from your trap their bleed will make quick work of a lower level argy. These guys do not run when torper is high so if you are on say genesis you can float right above them and just shoot them till down. Fast torper drain so be prepared before taming. The difference in effectiveness lost between kibble and cooked mutton is vast so kibble is prefered.

Lvl 65 starve timer off mine holds 3000 food and timer was wrong on target i recommend 1700

Can even take you off a quetz, keep an eye on the big redwoods

Good partner with the purlovia, trap bros! They are very useful in the redwoods

It's only a long tame because the food drop is low, use kibble or cooked mutton for best results

Should place a bear trap and then trap in a wall easy tame

To find these ün the Crystal Isles look for them in the areas that connect the desert and the biome that has hills and stuff. You can also find them in the redwoods but they are really rare there is a spot you can find like 2-4 of them in the desert but I forgot the cords. Just look at the connections between the desert an the other biomes.

If using a taming box, build ceilings around the perimeter to prevent climbing out

This is for bigger tribes or tribes who have more stuff. Just pick it with a skiff, hover below the thylacoleo and tranq it out anywhere you want.

The best place to tame these is on Ragnarok, in the desert biome, along the river. They don't pounce and dismount you because they are found walking around.

I gotta say, the r-variant creatures are just soo pretty, direwolves with all their spots and colours, snow owls with maroons and blacks and whites, and finally the thylas, reds and browns and black and grey. I love them all

Skiff+thyla= easy ko. Above a box makes it a safe tame. R thyla are awesome coloring. Take lots of narcotics they wake up fast. And use cooked mutton

To tame thyla you must have a high ground because they cant get trapped by a bola. So have tranq arrows with a crossbow and narcotics, with raw meat or pime meat. Cooked or raw is ok. Now have a nice day with your thyla.

great mount, i usually raise 5 or 6 at a time due to how easy they are to care for
