Stories Tips

What are some stories about the thylacoleo? Memorable thylacoleo stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I had saw him on the ground, I really needed a good thyla so I was getting prepared to grab him (with my impirnted argie so i trusted that she would live throughout the bleed attack) and take him to the drop trap when I arrived I was second guessing because I wasn’t sure if there was any other thylas around that could pounce me off but there wasn’t any, so when I went down to grab him, the second my argies talon graced the fur i realised… That’s not him… The direbear agroed to me and i got so scared and went crazy in the air trying to get away. I was so sad thinking he was gone until I just managed to see him before the inevitable, he had jumped onto the tree again so I was gonna bring him bait since the area he was in was pretty trashy so I didn’t wanna get off, as well as getting him bait will heal him. I grabbed a low level dilo nearby and while steadily taking it to him, his head turned to me. The second I dropped that dilo was the same moment I realised I was too low for him to want that dilo over me.. I INSTANTLY got pounced, execpt my argie was the one grabbed. I would rather I get grabbed since my argie wouldn’t be in any danger after getting pounced and i could bring her dad to fetch her. I almost screamed and didn’t know what to do. Both the dilo and the Thyla was attacking my argie and I was so confused, I forgot I wanted to tame the thyla so I made my argue fight the thyla. Eventually my argie was unleashed and still alive, in the end the thyla was tamed but as good as he is that entire moment was not wortj my time.
These things are underrated like crazy! I currently have one of these named Thyeee and he is absolutely insane. He runs for forever, he kills things crazy fast, and he will never die. First story to prove my point is I’m on Thyeee collecting prime meat to tame a Basi, I kill a bronto but during this process I accidentally end up in wyvern territory. A fire wyvern starts chasing me and I didn’t know what to do. I tried biting him but he was up in the air so then I decided to try to outmaneuver him. I ran straight up a rock (which is another ability of the thylacolio) and near the top the wyvern got really close to me to bite me, so I just starting biting the wyvern. Thyeee killed that wyvern that day, and he has since killed many more wyverns. The second story to illustrate my point is this It was during a metal run that I was doing with a bronto and I brought Thyeee for protection. During that run, with little time in between, he fought 3+ Rexes, 6-7 Brontos, 30-40 castaroids, several stegos, a couple of Argys, and about 9 allos. After all of this, he was little under half health. HALF HEALTH! He is so insane that he took on all of those and shamed them to the core. This will definitely be the creature I bring to caves and I don’t even feel nervous taking him to take on the ragnorok mini bosses. I might not even bring other protection, he’ll be enough. These creatures are seriously underrated and should be used for more than they are.

One I was doing a special ops mission on the island they had big walls surrounding the area thanks to the climbing ability I climb a tree avoiding the turrets and the got into sniping position and killed the enemy players inside and toke some photos of the defensive network.
I was taming a dodicuros and a Rex Alpha came I had my Thyla level 180 her name was Halfonsa she was low in health because I had kill another rex alpha we fought the rex we almost kill him but she was to low and I didn’t see it until it was too late now I have her saddle in a box in front of her grave she was my best dino and first thyla.
Rest in peace Halfonsa
From the owner of Cole
I just noticed I can see my past posts here, and I had no clue I had that many votes on coles story. Thanks all, it was pretty cool to read what everyone’s said. To tell the truth I forgot all about it pretty soon because the owner of that server shut it down and I quit ark soon after. But clearly, Cole lives on.
One day (fake story) your on your wyvern that you spent 2 years getting and you thing: "HMMM I WONDER IF I SHOULD FLY INTO REDWOODS, BUT I BETTER WATCH OUT FOR THYLOS" (still not a real story) and then a careful fly through the redwoods,THE LAST TREE PERTCHED ON THE BACK, POUNCES PEELS EATS WYVERN FALLS INTO WATER GAURDED BY TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF PIRANAH, you lose all your progress is lost. Fun right? So be careful in redwoods!
Thylas are great tames because they can be very helpful (useful) but at times they can be hard to tame ext: I had a thyla that was a 130 but it got killed as I was going for a cave run after I finished I came out into the desert then I got killed by 3 death worms that came out of nowhere but overall thylas are great tames for anybody. :(this was scorched by the way ):
I was flying through redwoods on Albatross, my Pelagornis, when one of these creatures jumps on me. I panicked and tried to get out but it was in vain and I died. I flew back on my Pteranodon and found my stuff but I couldn’t find Albatross anywhere. I searched for about 20 minutes before presuming it dead and giving up. I have hated these things ever since
Good news, after about a month I was flying through redwoods and Albatross was just there.
