So I just took my pteranodon on a trip around the island and went to the redwoods for funzies and didn’t see a single one of these dudes (granted I flew high just in case and was being paranoid) but uh, props to me (please note that I did a ton of research before flying and that this was my first time lol)

Unless you have a sword or ascendant pike, if it knocks u off ur flight animal ur more cooked than that time ur mum burnt chrimbo dinner. If you do have one, just hit it until it dies and u have to be fast because when you hit the ground it packs a serious punch.

Ok so here’s how you tame them find one that’s on a tree but don’t get too close find a rock to sit on shoot him and he will jump off the tree but won’t be able to attack you then just tranq him out and put spikes around him once he’s out hope this helps

Do not think that you're safe from them if you're not flying. They will still jump on you even if you're on land. So just don't walk too next to the big trees and you'll be fine

Also always bring some friends or dinos with u when going to redwood just in case lol
