When you have to travel through the redwoods, make sure you fly over the trees, makes for a long flight so make sure your flyer has good stam. You can rest on the mountain in the redwoods. Another more dangerous way to go is along the ground, because they usually spawn high in the trees. Works both ways for me.

Tough to tame at 150,but get a male and a female, and the breeding will yield you adorable little units if weaponized furballs. After painstakingly long baby stages.. Our 5th generation interbred triplet lvl 380's violate wild rexes in ways only acceptable in Amsterdam... Put initial points in speed, then level melee and health every other level. At 2.5k hp with a good saddle, little short of a wyvern will give you hassle.

Believe me you do not want this thing in mobile as I was looking for explorer notes in red wood I had 300 health full fur armour and a level 90 fire wyvern(I was leveling it up ) than this thing jumped out of nowhere dismounted me and huged me to death. I have to admit they are great pets on any map espaccialy SE and aberation but on the center and the island they are a pain.

These aren’t on mobile, and as much as I want them on that platform, I get why they weren’t added. From the sounds of it, they’ll kill you and your big bird if you fly too low through the redwood forest. Watch the trees.

Don't fly in the redwoods! If you haven't guessed by the other submissions - the thyla are perched on tree's, will jump off to attack you and if you are flying - knock you off the flyer and kill you and possibly your mount. Just don't fly in redwoods unless its OVER the trees. Beware of rhinio's too.....

These will never be in ark mobile. First off, Wildcard does not fix their game or update it hardly as it is. Secondly, these controls would be very hard to make for an IPhone. If you want them go play real ark on a console or pc, not some shitty lag box.

I live in between the volcano and obsidian mountain and I travelled to carno only using my thylaceo. I killed everything on the ways with less than the 8 bites. It was a level 6 tame but I leveled it up to 15000 health and about 1500 mele. These things are beasts

Thylacoleos are awesome for cave runs, avoiding mega rabies by jump attacking bats is a life saver, dodging plura acid spit, and taking out those sleepy megalo is cake with this big kitty. Also being able to avoid danger by holding onto wall surfaces! Up vote ^

I honestly don’t understand how people hate these things so much. If you lost your pt in the redwoods to these you are really not getting a rip or sorry from me. I think it is universally known in the ark community that thylas spawn on trees, and that they snatch people of any mount. Getting a pt accidentally killed by the in 2025 is just wild. But if you want to tame it just send in a pt throw it in a stone taming pen by picking it with an argy after it landed to attack your pt. Then knock it out and feed it cooked meat.
