If you are on a wyvern and you hear or see one of these about to pounce you, fly directly up and press the grab button. If you time it right, you can grab the thylacoleo before it pounces you off. Upvote to let others know.

I use my Gigantopithecus when taming Thylacoleos. Let your Giganto tank the hits and you can shoot while mounted. I use shocking tranq darts and they knockout in no time.

Bear trap, tranq arrow, and cooked meat are what I found to be easiest

Just walk through the forest and look for any weird shape and shoot it with a shocking track dart

I don't recommend taming like 130-150 with even coocked prime cuz you will wrekt it's effectiveness and good lvls are very Rare...

Now they can be caried by Argies, but they can attack the argy while in they are in the argy's talons , so don't hold them to much if you don't have enough health in your bird.
