These things are scary as heck they made me terrified to even enter the redwoods when i started playing ark

Most of them that are in trees are low level. It only took me two shots in my acendant crossbow to knock one who jumped me through the tree

If you want to find these guys like crazy in ragnarock go to the desert biome with all the trees they are everywhere over there up so more people can see it

Should place a bear trap and then trap in a wall easy tame

When on scorched earth always bring a thyla for raiding as they can pin down Phoenix although Phoenix are rare they are able t9 be tamed and they are strong with a thyla it should be a piece of cake to kill a Phoenix but I have not actually tested this it’s just a thought as I don’t normally play on public servers especially on scorched

To find these ün the Crystal Isles look for them in the areas that connect the desert and the biome that has hills and stuff. You can also find them in the redwoods but they are really rare there is a spot you can find like 2-4 of them in the desert but I forgot the cords. Just look at the connections between the desert an the other biomes.

Man I was just flying through the woods on a normal day when one of these things came out of no where and scared the **** out of me , pulled me off my pelagornis and killed me 😢

If using a taming box, build ceilings around the perimeter to prevent climbing out

Every time I see this animal at red woods I’m like is it a saber and I am like NOPE A THYLACOLEO

This is for bigger tribes or tribes who have more stuff. Just pick it with a skiff, hover below the thylacoleo and tranq it out anywhere you want.

The best place to tame these is on Ragnarok, in the desert biome, along the river. They don't pounce and dismount you because they are found walking around.

If you fly past their tree while you're above them, they still get to you. They have a ridiculously big reach, so if you see one, fly away immediately.

I gotta say, the r-variant creatures are just soo pretty, direwolves with all their spots and colours, snow owls with maroons and blacks and whites, and finally the thylas, reds and browns and black and grey. I love them all

On Scorched Earth they are found wandering near the really tall rocks. They don't pounce on you like they do on other maps.

The are in de red wood and dessert island on ragnarok i would recomend taking a shotgun with you on official but in boosted servers a pike will also do the trick to kill them and dont fly trough the redwood

Skiff+thyla= easy ko. Above a box makes it a safe tame. R thyla are awesome coloring. Take lots of narcotics they wake up fast. And use cooked mutton
