My personal favorite mount for all terrestrial travel, hunting, and combat—especially if it’s a bred thyla with full imprinting.

However, the thylacoleo has a wide turn radius and can’t make sharp turns very quickly. You can travel pretty safely on a strong thyla, but if you need to turn and run quickly, look in the direction of where you want to go and JUMP. Boom, no time wasted turning :)

Hey, don’t you guys think there should be a thyla tek saddle? I think there should be more tek saddles, bc there’s only 5 rn when there could be a lot more. Plus, imagine what the ark devs could think of with a thyla tek saddle!

Climb the large Redwood tree with your tamed Thylo. You can turn and face toward the ground (just like the wild ones!) You will get crosshairs. If a smaller wild creature is below, you can aim, pounce, and it will chew on the prey for a few seconds (just like the wild ones!) Enjoy.

this actually can be carried by argentavis. I tried it doesn’t work.

For some reason these things are great swimming mounts and move very fast in water
