Thylacoleos lurk in Redwood trees and can ambush riders from above, so travel cautiously and avoid exposing yourself or your mount. To tame one, knock it from its tree, secure it in a sturdy trap, then tranquilize it and feed it cooked meat or suitable kibble while maintaining its rapidly falling torpor. Once tamed, it is a powerful combat and travel mount that can climb vertical surfaces, leap and pin smaller creatures, inflict bleeding damage, gather resources, and let riders use weapons from the saddle. When facing one, avoid its pounce path and respond quickly with strong weapons or combat creatures.
