If you are like me and tame a theri before you have a saddle, you can just put it on wander and it will get you lots of resources without just sitting in your base While you wait to get the engram lol

These guys are beasts! If you go through the trouble of getting 1 . Trust me you won’t regret it . I gets rare flowers thatch wood and fiber with ease . And if you have a nice level, it will completely destroy a Rex. So tame a theri when you are at least at level 70. Also try to get a breeding pair then you will be unstoppable

P.S these guys are such a pain bring lots of narcs or if ur very powerful bring bio toxin . Happy taming survivors!

This thing gets THOUSANDS of rare flowers and tons of plant species x seeds from the purple bushes in the swamp, I just got 1000 rare flowers, 4500 fiber and 50 plant species x seeds in about 1 minute with my new lvl 45 therizinosaur! If you need any of the recourses I mentioned above, or just need a strong and fast battle mount, then I highly recommend taming this guy.

Note: bring lots of narcotics or bio toxin when taming, it takes a long time to tame, please🆙 If this was helpful!

When you tame these bad boys and have a saddle you can use the tickle attack on cattails to get plant x seeds if you want some and can’t find x plant bushes

Just discovered they can gather insane amounts of hide with bite attack and delicate leveling

Theri + swamp trees = rare mushroom

This guy in my opinion is better than Rex. He is faster, more maneuverable, attack is nice and quick...plus outside of battle he can harvest wood, thatch, berries, and fiber almost as well as anything else in the game.

Downside, not the best weight for gathering. And no weight reduction, slightly less base dmg than Rex, and not as much health, with no way to heal naturally.

Can get over 2 high walls, does fit through a Dino gate

They gather Rockcarrots very efficiently with their tickle motion. Use it on jungle ferns and, although rare, you can get over 20 from a single fern! They collect wood amazingly, fiber, berries, and have knockback as well as great speed and weight.

A MUST have tame for anyone

(FOR ALL CREATURES FROM ARK IN GENERAL) -yk what- if you think they should have a mating setting so they don’t move on mobile and you don’t die of fustration.

Does very little damage to stone structures, can walk over walls 2 high.

Swipe up in bushes or grass you will get fiber

Swipe down for berries

Great for boss raids. Get a decent group of them loaded up with veggie cakes and a yutyranus. Ride the yuty into the fight and when the it starts buff them with the yuty and watch them melt the boss.

My Lvl75 Theriz killed a Lvl100 Alpha raptor alone(though it almost died from the ALpha)before I realized what was happening.It can be BRILLIANT guard.

This chat is so filled because Therizinos are so useful, they can harvest any resources in the game apart from Metal, Stone, Flint and Obsidian basically rocks, they are very strong so can be used against loads of creatures especially in a pinch, you can also use these more effectively against the dragon because they are herbivores

Tamed one yesterday! After reading everything here I thought it would be impossible. While it was probably the hardest tame I have had so far ( just started playing a week ago) it was doable. I got him into my industrial raptor trap. Tranqd the crap out of him and started feeding some crops. For those that do get him tranqd his torpor goes Down Sooooo quick. I was busy building some other stuff and didn't pay attention for only a min and he's back up ready to shred again. I got him tranqd again but this time he only had like 145 health left I thought for sure he was going to die. Luckily he didn't and this time I didn't leave his side. He took almost 45 narcotics before finally being tamed. Kibble would have been better for sure but I'm not far enough yet for that. Good luck it is doable but it's not easy.
