You can place these in front of trees in your base, and it will collect wood and thatch, then after the tree respawns, it will collect wood and thatch again, until it starts to get encumbered and stop. Then, you can collect your resources from its inventory, and it will start automatically collecting again.

You can also place these around bushes, and they will "gather" to make the bushes despawn, but they will gain nothing in their inventory.

Tamed one yesterday! After reading everything here I thought it would be impossible. While it was probably the hardest tame I have had so far ( just started playing a week ago) it was doable. I got him into my industrial raptor trap. Tranqd the crap out of him and started feeding some crops. For those that do get him tranqd his torpor goes Down Sooooo quick. I was busy building some other stuff and didn't pay attention for only a min and he's back up ready to shred again. I got him tranqd again but this time he only had like 145 health left I thought for sure he was going to die. Luckily he didn't and this time I didn't leave his side. He took almost 45 narcotics before finally being tamed. Kibble would have been better for sure but I'm not far enough yet for that. Good luck it is doable but it's not easy.

These creatures are really good as tames for players,

because they can gather fiber, berry's and animal remaines. And there are powerful.

I got two theries one female one male so I can breed whenever I want, this power couple is the best at harvesting fiber berries thatch wood and more,also a killer king and queen,talk about the power of love!

Best thing I have tamed yet. I thought if I had a whole bunch of breeded raptors forming a huge pack I could take on almost anything, then I see this and give up and run. I now have one tamed and at super low level he is extremely powerful. He can harvest extremely well and definitely packs a large punch, or slash, I guess. Having one of these and even a saddle and you can’t be threatened. Having multiple, you would be the king of the land with these.

They are good for the broodmother boss and megapithecus but if you want the dragon just breed t rexes and use exceptional kibble to make them beef cakes

A few predators will attack and it’s like the only plant-eater that can gather meat and hide!!

Their bite attack deals torpor.

Guys set them on enable wander and they will gather wood for you

I was testing a thezi on a low level server, I wasn’t super aware with the definition of easy. But point it I tamed a max level(30) with 99.8 taming effectiveness. So it came out level 48 I took on an alpha raptor and killed it easily it was level 6. Later I went to a place near red ob where I knew there was ONE alpha raptor. Turns out there was two and they were mate bossted and 1 level 16 and the other I am pretty sure 28. I went on my thezi which doesn’t have crazy stats, 5k health and 300% melee. I took both of them on not knowing they would do so much damage. They had crazy resistance and dps, not to mention health and speed. They cornerd me and started shredding me so I ran trying to make it to a stego. I realized I wouldn’t make it in time and stood again to fight them. They had me low and I thought it was it. Take it mind this is one of the three mounts I have so if I loose her I am dead. Mainly because on low level servers pts are useless, and my barry is quite weak. So I had to fight for it all. I killed one but I knew she was the low level. I then fought the last one I thought I was at 200ish health, then the male died. I checked my thezi and it was 800 health after taking on two alpha raptors mate boosted and at the same time. Take in mind I used a primitive and normal saddle. Thezis are op even my friend who is obsessed with gigas admits it.

And is a good war machine but i prefer rex or spino

The best in general of farming Dinos.

This is a must have if you plan on harvesting resources a lot. This Dino is Moschops 2.0 and it is a good one. Being able to harvest many resources and upgrade their ability to farm specific resources is commendable.

Taming this will require good tactics and great number of tranqs and narcotics. It has insane Torpo drain. Be prepared. They hit hard and come at you fast.

Saddle unlocked at level 69 and costs 40 engram points

Not only can these gather berries very efficiently, but they also gather rockarrot very well. In 10 minutes he gathered over 100 carrots for me.

Good alternative to Rexes for the Dragon boss fight due to fire resistance. Pretty easy to tame as well - can be picked up by Wyvern and then dropped in a trap. Easiest way to tame due to their ability to rip you to pieces in seconds.

My pair can take down an alpha raptor very easily and neither are particularly high level. Definitely worth the time it takes to tame one

I love tickle chickens, I would recommend taming a low lvl one and raising it up lvl it's weight capacity to 1000 then health to 2000 (don't bother lvling it's speed just up it's stamina), I use it when scouting for new areas for a sub-camp then cut down a ton of trees w it and start building when I find a good spot (also great for gathering fiber). Pretty much a portable lumber mill tank.
