This thing gathers fiber by literally the THOUSANDS. not sure how it isn’t listed as #1 for it. It’s “alt” attack is what gathers it.

If you take these things into a cave, the only thing that will aggro on them is a megalosaurus. I took Tickle Fingers on a chitin run, and the only thing after to eat my tail was nothing. I wandered into that cave like it’s a daily thing. Of course I had centipedes, snakes, Scorpions, and spiders after my blood because I impaled some of their friends with my fingers of doom. Perfect for chitin runs for caves

Quick notice I havent seen on any other comments- if you hold E on the theri it will give a pop up menu for it, you can put additional points into specific categories you want collected. Delicate will collect more fiber, strong will collect more berries. I had 17 levels in the delicate category and collected 25 thousand fiber in about 2 minutes tops.

The hardships you go through while taming this dino is very worth it. Let it roam outside your base and you got yourself a guard, woodcutter, berry/hatch/fiber collector, it violates everything in its path except stones.

With enough points in delicate harvesting, it can easily surpass the Moschops when it comes down to gathering rare flowers/mushrooms with its bite attack.

In mobile, you can get Rockarrots by using Tickle attack or Alt Attack 1. You don't have to plant rockarrot seeds now, just tickle some ferns 😊 up

Have a high level Theri that I set to wander near the swamp for funsies. He collected hundreds of rare flowers within minutes. Now I keep him out there for endless rare flowers to fuel my bee farm

you can collect lots of fiber with this Dino second attack.

Best tame for gathering hide. Level heavy harvesting, and use C attack (bite) on corpses. It harvests only hide (and lots of it) from most dinos, so your inventory won’t be clogged with meat and whatnot. Nothing comes close to this efficiency for gathering hide.

You can tame em early dont worry just tame one wiyh an trap or shooting ontop N cliff or rock put them in an area with a lot of plants and trees they gather passively just enable wandering and make sure that resource gathering is on

To get meat, tickle or slash. To get hide, bite.

On mobile you can set alt attack 1 and 2 to your multi (two finger) tap shortcut. Alt 1 will harvest fiber while 2 will harvest berries. 2 also harvests just hide.

Wild ones are aggressive to all tames, so you can use these to do some... sneaky business.

Spawned at red ob, then saw someone was using a giga (passive) to block red ob, so i found a theri, lured it up to the tribute terminal, (while dying a few times) then the theri transferred aggro to the giga, nd i watched intently with satisfaction for 10 minutes while recording the whole thing until the giga died.

To the person who owned the lvl 378 "OP COTTON CANDY LINE F" giga with over 1100% melee, i hope you enjoyed your sick kicks, cuz i just ended them.

I swear,this is one of the best tames you could get,they gather so much wood and fiber in no time,they also harvest rockarrots which you won’t need meat anymore lol,they have great health and really good melee dmg,while they are also fast and can get you berries and even hide,MUST TAME

When tamed they can be used to collect rare mushrooms for swamp trees.

This guy is a absolute annoying yet excellent gatherer for all the recources you struggle to get with Brontos. If you want wood, Rockarrot and fibre, get him. (for mobile, double click on your movement control to make it use its alt 1 special attack, which is to gather both fibre and Rockarrot). Underrated creature for pve gatherer. Also, good for pvp to shread Accendance armour players.

In ark mobile for newbies..(must have saddle first)It can collect fiber by swiping up on your left screen, swipe down to collect berries.. Ive tame these guy for a week,i didnt know all these, i thought it only work on pc.. i was confuse like why he emoting lol
