Therizinosaurus Multiensis is way different than Therizinosaurus Cheloniformis.

Therizinosaurus Multiensis is commonly mistaken for a predator because it isn’t docile. It’s long claws were ideal for killing and it’s health was above high. It’s sheer power alone helps it survive in the wild while it’s speed is pretty decent, making it one of the strongest dinosaurs that rivals Tyrannosaurus Rex. Therizinosaurus lives alongside other herbivores. Commonly, only one Therizinosaur lives in an area.

Domesticated

Therizinosaurus is not really challenging to tame, but is one of the most versatile mounts you can have. The long claws are great for gathering resources and it’s “tickle attack” sometimes describes it as a Tickle Chicken. Foraging is easy with the Therizinosaurus, but the Therizinosaurus was not interested in weight in the first place.

Traps: 2x2 roofless Stone Box with a wood ramp up one side and a door out the other. If you want it Therizinosaur-Proof, then you should make it out of metal. It is highly expensive, so I recommend you make it out of stone.

Taming: Search for a Therizinosaurus. Once you have spotted one, kill off any predator (even the Dilophosaur will attack the Therizinosaurus). Your tribe-mates could do this task while you start taming. Once you have attracted it’s attention, lead it to the stone box. Knocking it out with a fist or club is impossible. After, you can knock it out while it’s stuck in the box. Additional time (or misses) will let the Therizinosaur lose torpidity higher, so make sure you never let 5 seconds break in. When it’s knocked out, feed it with your food of choice. Remember that the Therizinosaurus’ torpor drains very quickly, so feed it a lot of narcotics. I have estimated that you need 65 narcotics for a lvl 5 Therizinosaur if you have a 3x taming boost. Once it is tamed, enjoy your tickle chicken. The saddle if you have not noticed is unlocked at lvl 69.

Note: For people who say this is nearly impossible to tame, it isn’t. Taming a Therizinosaurus is one of the best gifts you can have from the ARK. It will protect you from all dangers and ruthfully kill all enemies you have.

Tame it, make it 400% melee, add some health and nothing will dare to attack you. And those who dare will be "tickled" to death. I killed alpha raptors with it like they were just dust.

Sooo this guy literally saved my life at only lvl 14 we got stuck near a swap and he killed 4 beavers, 2raptors, one sarco and one Titan boa..although barely survived he is such a champion and worth all taming headaches.

make sure to have lots of Biotoxin or Narcos when you knock it out, and also take into account these guys bite off WAY more they can carry when tamed. my babyboy Naoya was encumbered and got jumped by 3 alpha carnos at once trying to escape.

For Mobile,

Swipe up left side = Tickle Attack

Swipe down left side = Bite Attack (high knockback)

Double tap and hold right side = Claw attack (high dps)

On trees, Claw attack, tickle attack yields more thatch, bite gathers more wood.

On bodies, Claw attack yields both meat and hide like normal, Tickle attack does the same but in meagre amounts, don't use. Bite attack gives only hide.

On bushes, tickles attack gives tons of fibre much more than Sickle(go get craft them ascendant gear finally! ) .Bite attack gives berries. Claw attack has no effect.

Therizinos aré arguably one of the best tames.

Theire quite fast. Strong and EXELENT farmers, they can farm mushrooms,hide,quitin, Wood, although lack Weight reduction on these, and Berrys and Fiber.

Have damage reduction on fire witch makes them actually a good option to beat the Dragon.

Quite hard to tame due to theire torpor drain but totally worth it.

Basic Logic For Basic Materials

Therizinosaurus = General/Fiber

Doedicurus = Stone

Casteroides = Wood

Ankylo = Metal/Flint

Bite attack can damage metal spiked walls in mobile. Listed as not being able to damage metal but apparently it can. This thing is a danger to society!!!!

Using Therizinosaurus’ wood harvesting ability can decimate the charcoal trees in volcano biomes (Like the one of Fjordur). This makes gunpowder an absolute breeze if utilized right.

Hey guys don’t write many tips, but found this pretty interesting and hadn’t seen a post regarding it. If you take the TC (Tickle Chicken) into the swamp and find the little dead looking brambles, use it’s delicate attack and it will harvest LOADS of species X seeds.

1 : fiber --- swipe up on left side screen while riding

2 :hide ---swipe down on left side screen when near dead creature(riding)

3 : wood ---normal attack

I only use these as lumberjacks and farmers cause they good at it on mobile
