I was playing the game and, due to previous near-death encounters, I was absolutely terrified of the tickle chicken. I decided to take a risk and tame it, so I flew up on a cliff using my pterodon, shot it, missed a lot, and repeated. This took me multiple tries on several different cliffs. I finally tamed it after what felt like forever. Later I knocked another one out with the same strategy, and extanged my pterodon for my other therizino. When I got off my therizino, right next to the sleeping tickle chicken, this MONSTER decided to wake up. Luckily I got on my high level tickle chicken, I was able to kill it. I’m still terrified of these savages.

How to tame, this is a lot easier than most people say it is. The moment you get narcotic arrows you can tame this guy. Step 1: get a strong tame like a trike as long as it has a good health and you can shoot off it. Step 2: Level up it’s health by a lot you will need this in order to tame a Thereizinosaurus. Step 3: get a lot of narcotics and narcotic arrows so the taming process is not hard. Step 4: find a thereizinosaurus and clear the area so no raptors or carnos will get in the way. Step 5: saddle up your Dino and ride over to it. Now the process begins, once your in range pull out your bow and start shooting. Once you hit it will agro on you and start running to you but just keep shooting. Once the thereizinosaurus is within melee range it will start attacking. You need to stand you ground and continue shooting. If you Dino has a lot of health it won’t be a problem. Eventually it will run away from you now you chase it down shooting it until it’s knocked out. Then enjoy taming.

If you eat berries.. then why do u feel the need to SLAUGHTER everything for no reason

In Jan 2020 I watched an ad and it gave me the saddle I was lvl 28 and I was excited to have a lvl 69 saddle, it took along time to tame, I ONLY used berries and had to kill tons of jelly fish to keep it down. Nocking down I went on a cliff and shot it with narcotic arrows

You can trap this thing with 4 straight stone dino gateways but they will damage the gates

I finally tamed one of these, it was a low lvl one. When you tame this animal be prepared to have alot of narcotics on hand, this thing will take a tremendous amount of them.

People heavily overestimate how difficult these are to tame. Just use 4 metal billboards and a large bear trap. This will only cost you 146 metal ingots, 40 cementing paste, 10 hide and 15 fiber. If you demolish it afterwards it will cost half that number. The taming effectiveness barely goes down when you use mejoberries, so use those. Do not feed it narcotics, feed it mejoberries instead. The reason for this is; the torpidity on narcoberries goes up slower than narcotics, this means they will keep the therizino asleep for a longer time period. The saddle for it is unlocked at level 69 (nice), and that's all you need to know.

WARNING

This creature will immediately agro on you and your tames. When trying to tame one, please note this creature will run away very fast from torpor.

Make sure you hold it in quetz arms or taming pen because it does a lot of damage, lvl 105 did 135 damage before tamed. Uses not that much torpor but stay alert! Normal KO strategy. Mid-end game tame, usefull early game but hard to tame!

Easiest way I’ve found to tame is get trapped with a tree some how I got a 150 against a tree and a cliff and it knocked out after 35 tranq arrows from a primitive crossbow it will need narcotics though to keep out also remember it is a herbivore not a carnivore

Use soothing balm (any version is tremendously helpful), because the grind to get Megalocerous Kibble is too stupidly hard to be worth it. Just get mejoberrys or crops (WITH THE SOOTHING BALM)

The soothing balm is only obtainable through either watching an ad, which is inefficient. Or buying it with Ancient Amber which you can specifically watch an ad for, then buying it.

To the npc who posted a awful taming method but somehow got over 1100 likes, a theri requires 275 narcotics per hour and a high level will be a 8 hour tame using mejoberries, no one cares that you play with 20x taming and dino lvl cap 10, on official settings a lvl 150 must be tamed with the appropriate amount of exceptional kibble, with a heavy stockpile of narcotics, must be trapped while knocking out or it will rupture your guts. Pls do not read npc posted tips unless you play with their settings...

Like this thing?Ok here’s how to tame, but things you will need to tame six-Spartan (because of its claws), narco berries or a trike to gather them, crossbow, tranqs (stunning, darts, arrows pick your fancy.), and last a gooood rock or trap! (Btw this works on all versions but I was on mobile ultimate)

Ok so lead murder chicken over to rock or trap and beware for rock! These can climb some rocks if they slope down to them so get an overhanging one if possible. He will run when your tranqs sink into its hide but it has bad torpor resistance so will be knocked out very quickly. Narco and mejo berries go into inventory (so you can tame it)(narco berries 300 this is when I said trike and mejo 100-150 will do.). Check on theri very often and let it’s torpor drain a substantial amount before shoveling narco berries in its throat ( these are better than actual narcotic for some reason?) it will tame in anywhere from 10-50 minutes. This is the most badass mount out there and you now have one!
