There are two ways to tame one risky one safe

Risky option: make 3x3 square of stone foundation and place stone doorways all a round with ramp leading into it. Lead it into trap then tranq it out with tranq arrows and bow or crossbow. Make sure you have tons of narcoberrys and mejoberry and put both in inventory feed it narcoberries when below 50% torpor. Tamed level 75 with this strat

Safe option: do with metal buildings

1.I would probably recommend tranquilizer darts and lots low or high

2. Either build a stone/metal trap or go stand on a high rock it cannot reach or climb

3. Make sure you have crops and bio toxin or narcotics (more than 100)

4. Shoot it with your tranquilizer darts

5. When it runs run after it shooting it

6. When unconscious feed it your crops

7. Stay near it because it torpor drops really fast

This is from my experience in playing hardcore.

1. This fella can really navigate rough terrain. I was surprised that it even made it up a quite steep cliff. If u want to snipe it from atop, make sure ur standing spot's steepness is at least almost 90 degrees between the lower part of ur 'platform' and the ground. Any lesser will ensure this thing coming up for the kill. I survived but my level 51 Tapejara din't. He saved my life. 😭

2. Sometimes when u r tranquilizing it, all of a sudden it will appear like running away. But, don't be fooled. It does this to lure you down. Happened many times. If it really ran for more than 7 secs away from u, then it is really escaping due to the rising sleepiness. It has a high amount of torpor resist. So, don't expect an earlier catch. Usually takes me at least 10 arrows with a crossbow to attain a result.

3. I realized that Spinos are the best dinos to counter these tyrants due to their buff and knockbacks. If u manage to tame 1, should be no problem if u bump into these terror chicks. Their agro range is very short.

For people wondering about the fact that the Therizinosaur eat vegetables, fruits, and etc. It used those girl-boss claws to grab bamboo, fruits, and etc from high areas.

Using mejos kept the Taming% fairly high. Make sure you stay on it with narcotics as its torpor goes down fairly quick. Not recommended to tame if you are not prepared with marcotics or to far from base if you are low. ~KT

Tame a low level first so you can use the kibble for future therezino tames

So you decided to tame the Tickle Chicken huh, now here's what you need.

First build a trap, it's a must when you don't wanna risk dying. 4x4 trap with a ramp and STONE is a must. Sleep before taming or you will need a lot of Narcs because it's torpor drains fast. Bring Toxitant or Tranq arrow 40 to 50 depends on level, and use crossbow with good stats for faster knock. You won't need a lot of narcs to keep it down of you slept so feed it with Citronal for 90% up taming bonus. Kibble always makes things easier and faster if you have a female Sleepy Dino(Mobile). But citronal is a good taming food for this guys. Up so noob can see.

I tried to tame on foot it went crazy and killed me 4 times until I finally got a trap this guy is a beast but why kill me when he eats berries

If you meet this thing in the wild as a beginner survivor, don't hesitate, just run

I literally brought 1k narco. I'm taming it right now. Hope it's enough!

Honestly i tamed one when it got stuck between some trees as i was running for dear life so basically just get it stuck or trap it and avoid it’s katanas and your all set!

Its the most aggressive herbivore, so be careful ! It's a classic knock out and it eats berries or megalosaurus kibble which I really recommend because the tame takes a veeery long time. It also loses torpor quite fast so you're gonna need a lot of narcotics. But once it's tames, you got a real beast: it can mess up against the rex and is a farming machine. Leftclick for wood and thatch, rightcklick for fiber and "c" for berries. It's the first herbivore that harvests bodies: leftclick for meat and hide etc. And "c" for only hide. You can increase the amount of gathered ressources by leveling up, similar to the moschops.

I always carry a Large Pillar and some Ceilings on my Argy. If I see any big dinos worth taming I place the pillar and the ceilings on it, land on it and just tranq safely from there. Just make sure your flyer doesn't go flying in front of the dino. Also, as usual, get ready to run after the dino before the last shot. So probably better to clear out the area first if you can.

I had no problem when knoking out the same thera that attcked my base i just made 30 tranq arrows and knoked out with like 20+ arrows and i DIDINT EVEN MAKE NARCOTICS CAUSE i have biotoxin when i was taming i wasted 200+ BIOTOXIN ON THIS THING TO TAME IT

The best way is to starve tame it and you better have alot of bio toxin that is how I did it and get high ground! in mobile version

I was playing the game and, due to previous near-death encounters, I was absolutely terrified of the tickle chicken. I decided to take a risk and tame it, so I flew up on a cliff using my pterodon, shot it, missed a lot, and repeated. This took me multiple tries on several different cliffs. I finally tamed it after what felt like forever. Later I knocked another one out with the same strategy, and extanged my pterodon for my other therizino. When I got off my therizino, right next to the sleeping tickle chicken, this MONSTER decided to wake up. Luckily I got on my high level tickle chicken, I was able to kill it. I’m still terrified of these savages.

How to tame, this is a lot easier than most people say it is. The moment you get narcotic arrows you can tame this guy. Step 1: get a strong tame like a trike as long as it has a good health and you can shoot off it. Step 2: Level up it’s health by a lot you will need this in order to tame a Thereizinosaurus. Step 3: get a lot of narcotics and narcotic arrows so the taming process is not hard. Step 4: find a thereizinosaurus and clear the area so no raptors or carnos will get in the way. Step 5: saddle up your Dino and ride over to it. Now the process begins, once your in range pull out your bow and start shooting. Once you hit it will agro on you and start running to you but just keep shooting. Once the thereizinosaurus is within melee range it will start attacking. You need to stand you ground and continue shooting. If you Dino has a lot of health it won’t be a problem. Eventually it will run away from you now you chase it down shooting it until it’s knocked out. Then enjoy taming.
