Acctually tamed one lvl 7 male and that lvl 7 male that was THE SAME THERA THAT ATTACKED MY BASE and hes nameles so please NAME IDEAS

I see a lot of debates on how to tame this creature, so here’s my way(the most mediocre ark player)

Prepare of course, you need..

6 STONE triangle foundations

12 Stone doorframes

2 Wooden Ramps

A LOT of Narcotics and i mean a LOT, like you could drown Colonel Sanders’ Wet Dream in it(its a giant chicken.. i’m not funny)

Quite a few tranq darts with a good Longneck

A fat pair of balls

Hide sleeping bag JUST IN CASE

Find a Therizinosaurus AND MAKE SURE YOUR TAME ISNT NEAR IT, these things are like spiders, you turn your back on them for one second and they disappear like a horror movie stereotype, Set the foundations up in a hexagon shape and place 2 doorframes on each side, add 2 ramps on one side(this’ll be used to get the Theri into the trap)..and set a hide sleeping bag close to the trap incase you need it

This step takes a big pair of balls, fire at the Theri and let it chase you, run up the ramp and make sure the Theri does too, run out the doorframes and then the Theri will fall into the trap.

Knock it out then stuff it’s inventory with extraordinary kibble and narcotics, don’t leave it there or else it’ll wake up because Wildcard wants us to suffer

Name your new Therizino! They’re great harvesting but they’re great for killing the Dragon, pair them up with Rock Elementals and Deinonychus and watch them shred that guy to bits and pieces

I saw alot of people complaining about the fact theri's being aggresive even tho it eats berries so to answer ur question i will say that u should go and stand in front of a wild elephant (which eats grass, herbs, ferns, leafs etc if u didn't know) and see wat happens and then u will know why a berry eating dino is aggressive against u

Yesterday I tamed a 130 with a desmodus and tranq arrows with a crossbow fed it crops and the Elixir.

This is how to kill one first get a wood spiked wall and just wait for it to go into the walls or lure it in and then wait it worked for me and it was lvl 45 (I do not remember it’s name)

If u get it high level u can basically kill anything i took out a level 50 Rex with it with ease

The starve timer was off 2x event, I ended up only getting 64% effectiveness and it took waaay more food and an additional 20 minutes to tame. Used all but 1 kibble I needed cause I was short 1

You’ll want to make a trap if you want to tame one of these things as they are really fast and deadly and will almost kill you instantly, a good trap to build to keep this thing in place would to be to make a 2 by 2 platform and build doorframes 2 high so you can run out but he can’t, then you want to make ramps for it to run up and fall into the trap but be careful that you don’t die while trying to lead it into the trap. (Keep in mind that it’s torpor will drop quickly so you will want to stay near the area you knocked it out so bring a lot of narcotics)

I got wasted by one of these! It even attacked my dinos (I had 8) and I had 3 left after my parasail killed it. It took me out in 3 hits. I didn’t know they attacked but I learned the hard way by walking up to one to see if it was friendly but it wasted me......now I know.

I killed a Level 10 tickle chicken with my Level 37 Stego

But if you are low leveled you will die to this omnivorous chicken

I use 16 stone pillars in a box formation and stack it 2 high with a large bear trap works decently well and is pretty cheap. You could only it use only 8 pillars and a large bear trap to make it cheaper. All you have to do is setup the box and leave it open put bear trap in the middle and have it chase you into the trap and simply slip through the gap in between the pillars and when it’s stuck in the trap go behind it and use the last 2-1 pillars I have and seal it in. Works great I’ve used this trap for other tames such as wooly rhinos and a yutyranus probably works for rex’s too.

These thing are annoying to tame they eat so slow there torpor drains so fast they knock you out on your mount and kill it I just recommend kibble because it takes so long and you cant leave it for one second because it’s torpor.

Theirs can actually collect rare flowers on a kind of grass, they can collect wood, thatch, and fiber

Use a large bear trap to get it stuck and just start spamming those arrows, these guys are great at damaging threats and can get you wood and thatch for building

I was killing alpha raptors with my 150 Rex and was leveling it up and out of no where the monster started attacking I tried fight back but I had to run I ran until I ran out of stamina and choose to fight I barely won but my Rex had 1k health left (out of 15k) and it was only lvl 80

Best tame ever for fiber, wood, rare flower, seeds, meat, hide & chitin. They're great fighters too, capable of bringing down a T-Rex. I highly recommend making this dino a priority tame.

Excellent gatherer of berries, fibres ,wood etc.They can also gather raw meat prime meat etc.Most importantly hell of a tame they are.Very strong .A high level one can kill almost anything.This is my favourite dino in the game.The utility,damage everything is up there.Excellent tame.

I call them tickle chickens. Definitely build trap plus large bear trap then unload tranqs.
