What are tips for tapejara? Tips and strategies for tapejara in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These things make every knockout tame(except titanosuar) a piece of cake
If you have a friend you can just put them in the front passenger seat and you can fly while they rain tranqs upon you're target
If you're alone these things can hang on cliffs and redwood trees and when you're hanging you can use weapons and shoot you're target with tranqs
Long story short these things are worth it
You don’t need a ghillie suit if you can trick shot bolas from long distance
This creatures are not much rare but to tame them is really very hard, because if they see you they ran away so fast that you can't catch and if you caught them some how there will some carnivore creatures they will kill your tapejara very easily and you will only get is a meat of tapejara that's it.... If you really want to tame them you have find their spot if they are on the land. And call out your strongest creature who can kill almost all dinos by himself so that your tapejara is safe. And you can finally tame them. But pls soothing balm before feeding them food, because it takes a lot of time to tame them. And pls take atleast 5 spikewalls with you to keep them safe while feeding them food.
😑😑😑😑😑dont tame one nere raptor spawn it will die soooo dont be like me and have it die
Not sure why, but chain bolas don’t work on tapejaras, at least for me. I had a paracer with a platform saddle and a turret, which is what I shot the tapejara with a chain bola with. I’m playing on Xbox. Does anybody know why this is happening?
If you have a quetz use it to knock one out the tapajeras are so annoying to find so get a quetz and a platform saddle then whenever you get close go up above the tapajera then shoot it with your desired tranqs they are so fast so it’s a little hard to catch them and they never land but a great tame nonetheless three seater fast can fly backwards and in all directions not very good for stamina and weight when tamed so put stats into those two. Do weight first then stamina.
You can tame these by carrying your friend on a pteranodon preferably with some nice levels into speed (if you have that option turned on ofc) then proceed to have your friend shoot it with your best taming weapon while you chase the tappy down until it is knocked out
All these people talking about gillie suits and bolas when I just found one it was running into a wall of someones base and it got stuck and I just shot it.. it almost does to dilos tho lol
If you don’t have ghille, and he best way to bola it is from above. Just wait for it land next to a ledge, climb up, and hit with the bola. I tamed a level 55 this way.
Super easy to tame bola it and knock it out with a club
With the help of the new affects of eating rare flowers you can lure these scaredy cats Into a flyer taming pen with there sudden and extreme rage. Just close the door when they enter
Don't get too close to it, like the archaeopteryx it flees if you get too close,I recommend a ghile suit or a admin command.
I found a male lvl 140 and decided to tame it just follow it and shoot its head and then feeding it prime meat from stegos and paracer cause it falled near a swamp (if you play on mobile if he is not in your render distance there is nothing that can kill it)
Use a bola and knock it out there realy fast
Amazing tame! I have it in single player only, but I imagine it would be an incredible attack mount with the other players on it. It can hover, cling onto walls, which lets it regenerate stamina, turn instantly, making for great maneuvering, and it can be upgraded to have a quite decent amount of stamina and health. Only problem is how hard it is to tame one.
It runs if you get to close so bola or something
Description:
Wild:
Tapejara imperator holds a dear place in the hearts of many survivors here on the island and for good reason. However, natural instincts make it best viewed from afar when wild.
This isn’t because Tapejara imperator poses any threat to survivors when wild, but is extremely shy and distrustful towards them when wild while appearing oblivious to most animals until the moment of attack. It makes a different call and flinches far faster than it’s somewhat more-common Pteranodon ancestors when spooked. I can’t tell what Tapejara imperator‘s phobia of humans is a result of. However, Tapejara imperator is wise enough to know that the sky is always the safest place to be.
Domesticated
Taming Tapejara imperator often times is always a trust-building excercise, as if you treat it with care, it should come to love you once it wakes up. Many value it’s versatility to love it back in return. It does have decent self-defense skills, but rarely uses them in the wild.
