Tales of Pandora
Origins of Salizar, Chapter 21: ~all coming together~
“Master, the small creatures are here, Genera- er.. Emerald is bringing them now.” A Drake said. “And she didn’t mention me? Remember what will happen to your people’s young if any of you tell anyone about me..” Salizar said. “No of course not.” The Drake said sadly. “Good, is Caesar with these creatures?” Salizar asked. “The mesopithicus? No, him and the Kairuku dove into the ocean below.” Yeh Drake said. Salizar pounded his fist down on the table he was sitting on, “NO! He can’t die, not yet.. alert me the moment he comes out of the sea.” He said. “Yes, Master.” The Drake said as he left the room. “Father, they approach.” Apex said, leaning down to tell him. Salizar crawled onto his back, “now, say exactly what I say..”
a huge arm grabbed the wall where the roof once attached, and another, then the dragon pulled himself up, crumbling the walls with his weight, some drakes cowered back slightly at the sight horrifying black beast, they remembered what had happened to Terrace. “What are these creatures..” the dragon said in a dismissive tone. “They were trespassing my Lord.” Emerald replied, inwardly vomiting as she said “lord” “Mmm good work commander emerald, you caught a stupid bird a bat and a.. whatever that other flying thing is..” he said in a sarcastic tone, that was not truly his. “what should we do with them.” Commander emerald replied. “I couldn’t care less, throw them off the island, kill them for all I care. now leave I have work to do.” The dragon said, lowering back down into the fortress. “How was that?” Apex asked. “Perfect.” Salizar said with a grin.
“I think it’s time to play with my new toy!” Salizar said once Caesar’s friends were gone. “Hmm?” Apex questioned. “You’ll see..” Salizar said, he pulled his mechanical eye out of his bag and swapped his bone mask out for it, the eye glowing green as it powered up. “Ahh yes, and.. Action!”
Caesar opened his eyes and saw that he was not in the water anymore, he was back in the dragons arena. “what? why am I here!?” He gasped. “Your here so I can show you something,” Salizar said using Haze’s voice, “this is what will happen if you do not succeed.” He continued. Teh dreamscape blurred and they were floating high above Pandora, it was burned and charred with fire and lava no traces of life to be seen. “This is what the dragon plans to do this is what you must stop.” Salizar told him. They zoomed in towards the floating island, it was no longer floating but crashed into the ground. The dragon was there he was talking to Salizar, but Caesar couldn’t tell it was him, he was cloaked and the dream blurred his form. Caesar looked around at the redish orange obelisks. “What happened?” Caesar asked. “It is not what has happened rather what will happen if you fail, the dragon seeks to become the overseer of this ark and destroy all life.” Lied Salizar, trying to hide his true intent. “But how? and what do you mean ark?” Caesar said. “Ah, you have much to learn, but you will.” Salizar said, he snapped Caesar out of the dream. He removed the tek eye, and looked at Apex, “how I love messing with people.” He said with a chuckle.
Some time had passed before the Drake scout returned, “ah, you have news?” Salizar said. “Yes, the mesopithicus, he’s alive!” The Drake said. “Yes yes, old news. Where is he?” Salizar said. The Drake looked confused, Salizar jumped onto his face and looked into his face, “WHERE IS HE!” Salizar asked again. “H-he's on the edge of the forest with his allies, I heard them planning!” The Drake said. Salizar got closer, “Tell me, everything…”
There was a knock on the door to the throne room, or waht was left of it. “come in.” the deep voice of the dragon echoed. The door opened and Salizar entered, “I have news..” Salizar said. “What is it father?” The dragon questioned. “The creatures are planning a rebellion, they want to stop our plan and kill you.” He answered. “What shall we do Father?” The dragon asked. “What we do Apex, nothing.. we play into their hands.” Salizar said. “What!?” The dragon said surprised, “Why would we do that?” “Because it will give them a false sense of hope.. and distract them long enough for me to complete hacking the ark,” Salizar said, “I must warn you though, they plan to enlist the help of a giganotosaurus.” “Hah! I could gut any theropod with one talon!” The dragon said boastfully. “Then do so, anything to distract them and thin their ranks…” Salizar said, “now all we must do is stall.” Salizar said. the dragon laughed wickedly. “What are you doing..” Salizar asked. “Uhm, evil laughing..?” The dragon said. “Well stop, it’s annoying..” Salizar said.
Salizar tailed Caesar and Ron through the redwoods, when they entered the facility he snuck in through the lab window while they entered the backdoor. it took them a wile to nudge the door to the lab open, Salizar thought of what he should say, he decided to lie. the two burst the door open and walked inside, “Huh I never dared to go back here.. guess you always were the brave one Caesar.” Salizar said lying his tail off. “Salizar?!” Caesar gasped, “everyone thought you were dead! How did you survive.” “Who is this monkey, captain?” Ron said. “This is the meso that escaped we all assumed he was dead..” Caesar said. Salizar looked at Caesar with a grimace, “I thought I was too.. I escaped the compound but they chased me down, one of them had a flamethrower, he gave me this scar,..” he gestured to the mask, “and the mask to cover it…” Salizar said. “Umm excuse me?” Ron said. “ SILENCE DODO I’m monologging..,” Salizar said his patience dwindling, “I then vowed to get my revenge on those who wronged me.. I was the one who led those fools to the first artifact to gain their interest I Was The One who learned the technology of the ark, I WAS THE ONE who made the apex dragon, AND I AM THE ONE WHO WILL DESTROY THIS ENTIRE ARK!” He said. “I thought the dragon wanted to burn the ark..” Ron said. “The dragon is a mere pawn of my revenge.. he is nothing before me…” Salizar said, he realized he said too much in his anger, he chose to keep his cool. “Salizar I know the humans wronged us but..-” Caesar started but Salizar cut him off, “WRONGED “US”?! they gave us the same serum but we are not the same!! They scorned me, burned me! Meanwhile they accepted you into their ranks!” Salizar had twisted the events so much in his mind that he now truly believed them. “They didn’t accept me! They tortured me and used me as a field medic!” Caesar shouted. “It makes no difference now, this ark will burn and all those foul memories with it.!” Salizar said. “Salizar you have to see this is insane, you can’t destroy the ark where will you go!” Caesar said. “Oh I have a perfect escape strategy.. you think this is the only ark?” Salizar said. “Yes??” Ron said “oh no, you fools, there are many and if you could see what I’ve seen.. the state of things back on-... oh nevermind no point telling you what you won’t live to properly understand,..” Salizar said, “good luck with your little kill the dragon plan.. I’m sure it will go well!” He said sarcastically, he walked away and out the widow he came in, cackling maniacally.. through the redwoods he muttered to himself about how wrong Caesar was and how much he hated him, but around the time he reached the floating isle and began the climb up its roots to the top he realized, he couldn’t let Caesar control him mind so much, he had lost himself because of his anger and hatred. He would have to control himself around Caesar next time.
“They are rallying their troops below the island.” Salizar said storming into the throne room. “What should I do, Father?” The dragon asked. “Go join their party, they are all waiting.” Salizar replied hastily. “Yes father” the dragon said, he flapped his wings and away he went. “Now, back to work..” Salizar said. He met with Darkhide at the mines, who showed him the terminal they had unearthed, he hacked it but was met with unfortunate news: “FOUR DAY CHARGE FOR FULL ARK WIPE!” He exclaimed, “aggghhhhhhh!!!!” He shouted, he controlled himself, “ok I’ll just have to hold them off a bit longer..” he said.

Ben and John continued to roam the forest, looking for their humble home. They could hear the sound of fire crackling and the smell of ash. It was as if a fire had just happened. Ben brushed the thought aside. It was probably just a small bushfire.
Just then, they saw something sparkle deep within the treelines. John’s eyes turned to it.
“Hey, is that a beacon?” John asked, pointing at the sparkling light. Ben squinted his eyes at it and nodded.
“Seems to be so. Let’s go.”
The two of them along with the capybara they found on the walk back home stepped over to the beacon. It was wedged in the grass and was glowing red, unusually enough.
“Aren’t they usually green?” John said.
“Yeah they are. Kinda weird how this one’s red.”
Ben stepped over to the beacon and pressed his hand on it. Ben began to glow red, and John looked on in awe as a strange gem manifested within Ben’s right hand. A set of flak armor spat out on the ground next to him.
“Woahh! That’s such a good drop! Man all we get are some lame crop plots or whatever Carlos calls them. Hey, can I see that?” John asked. Ben was staring at the gem, his eyes didn’t leave it.
“I… Think you should have the flak armor. I’m keeping this,” Ben firmly decided. John shrugged.
“Whatever you say. This thing looks cooler anyway,” John said as he began to put the armor on. Ben stared at it some more, as if he were reading instructions. Then, suddenly, he crushed it within his palm. His implant began to glow.
“You are now capable of Attribute Amplification,” a voice beeped inside Ben’s head, “Amplify the effects of your implant attribute to destroy your enemies in a last-ditch effort. This will lay out a zone where the amplified effect takes place. Use a hand signal that represents your attribute, and utter the words of this ability along with a designated name to lay out the zone. Following the use of Attribute Amplification, you will be unable to use your implant attribute for 48 hours along with this move. After the 48 hours are up, your implant attribute will still remain weak until you kill enough creatures or humans. You must have killed at least one human being in order to use Attribute Amplification. For every person you kill you will be granted 30 seconds on the zone. Good luck.”
“Hmm,” Ben thought, looking up at the emerging thatch hut, “Sounds cool, but kind of useless. Considering I haven’t killed a single person since I’ve landed here.”
The smell of ash lingered. The two looked around to see burnt down trees and logs everywhere. John let out a scream of terror as his eyes laid on the house.
“OH MY GOODNESS WHAT HAPPENED?! WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR HOME?!” John screamed, “Please don’t tell me we have to clean all of this up! Please please please!”
“Ughhh,” Ben groaned as he looked at the sight. Their thatch hut’s roof had seemingly caved in, and the walls were knocked down. They heard chatter come from the back of the hut, and then Carlos and Paul came out. They were covered in river water and sweat.
“What the heck happened here?!” John asked as the two approached them. Ben opened his mouth to speak when Paul shushed him.
“Shhh,” Paul hushed him.
“What are you hushing me for?” Ben whispered with a raised eyebrow.
“Um. Some weird woman just came by and destroyed everything. Because apparently you died. So, it’s not a good idea for her to know you’re here. Got it?” Carlos said.
“Wait a minute, who is this woman?” Ben whispered back, a bit of annoyance in his voice.
“You aren’t gonna believe it bro… It’s the Crimson Crusader!” Carlos replied, waving his hands in the air, “Yeah. The person that sent those guys after us and captured Ian. Crazy, huh?”
“No, I mean what’s her name?”
“I just told you bro it’s the Crimson Crusader.”
“Her REAL name.”
“Ohhh, yeah, I don’t know-”
“She has orange-brown hair and a fierce attitude. And pretty muscular, I guess,” Paul answered him while squinting his eyes at Carlos, “Do you know her?”
Ben seemed to be even more irritated. He shoved his hands in his graduation robe pockets and licked his lips.
“Yeah. I do. We met ONCE. And for some reason she has the hots. I would think playing dumb would get her off my tail but I suppose not.”
“I didn’t think someone would like you this way Ben~” John teased him, “Do you at least like her back?”
Ben whacked John on the head.
“Shut up. What are we doing now?”
“Well, we’ve gotta fix up this house. But, as for the woman, we don’t know,” Paul said, “I guess we’re just going to keep her there. We can decide what to do with her after we rescue Ian and Chris.”
“It sounds like a plan. So I guess we should fix this place up, huh?” John said.
~
It was late at night. They had finally finished rebuilding the home, which was looking even shantier than it did before. All of them were relaxing inside their hut, rediscussing their plan about raiding the castle.
“We managed to tame this huge beast thing. Mosasaurus or whatever it’s called,” John replied, “I say we put a bunch of cannons on that bad boy and just blow it all to shreds from the sea where they can’t reach us.”
“That’s not that bad of an idea… Then afterwards, when all the guards are distracted the herbivores can rush in and attack the castle straight on. They’ll run down any stupid guards. We can infiltrate the castle and begin to search for where they’re being kept prisoner,” Carlos said. Paul kicked back in his seat and looked at John.
“John you said you uh, discovered your attribute?” Paul asked.
“Yeah I did. I can insta-tame anything I touch. But it comes at the cost of my energy. Even the smallest creatures, like this little guy, make me super tired,” John explained as he pet the albino capybara. The albino capybara was resting on the floor and closing his eyes.
“I was thinking you could just insta-tame a bunch of creatures on the way, but that would be kinda tiring, so that’s off the table,” Paul said. Ben let out a yawn. He leaned back in his seat.
“I’m tired. Let’s just go to bed. Tomorrow, we can raid the castle.”
“Ben’s right. I think we have a solid plan. Good night, everyone.”
Everyone went to bed. Except for Paul. Paul sat up from his makeshift bed, and then got up. He walked out the door, to the back of the hut, and to the wooden cage where the Crimson Crusader was. The Crimson Crusader was drenched in water, and her hands were bound behind her back with rope. She looked up with a glare at Paul.
“What do you want?” she snapped at him. Paul looked at her in disappointment.
“Why? Why kill?” Paul asked.
“Are you mad I killed your stupid friend?” she smirked. Paul rolled his eyes.
“I know you didn’t kill him. You needed him to find where we were. It is too risky to kill him,” Paul declared, “I just want to know why you kill. Why you’re… like this.”
“Because it’s just how life works… You do what you want. Now get out of my sight. This is humiliating as it is.”
“I’m glad it is. Now answer my question. Do you think even the worst person can change? And that you can be a good person if you just try? Do you think everyone is born good or evil?”
“What a stupid question to think about. Being good? Being good doesn’t help,” the Crimson Crusader said, “No one cares if you’re good. But everyone cares when you’re bad. Isn’t that funny? People like you tell others to do good, but you don’t care either way.”
Paul’s gaze dropped to the dripping water on the grass.
“I guess you’re right in some way,” Paul admitted, “I think you can change though. I think anyone can because deep down, we all have good in our hearts. And I think someone who’s capable of loving others is someone who can become good. I think you’re just… doing the wrong things for the right cause. Does that make sense?”
The Crimson Crusader smiled, and then it turned to a smirk.
“You love someone, huh? That’s how you know all this.”
Paul frowned at her words.
“I wouldn’t know.”
“I can’t love, after all. Maybe I’m a bad person. But, I’ll try my best to do good. And I think you should too.”
Paul peered into the cage and into her eyes.
“So. Are you gonna change? Because if you’re willing to change… I’ll be willing to let you out. After all this is over, that is.”
“Hmm,” she said, “I think I should. Maybe… Yeah. I definitely should. Ben would like it, wouldn’t he?”
Paul softly smiled at her.
“I’m glad you’ve decided to become better.”
The Crimson Crusader smiled back. She wrapped her hands around the bars of the wooden cage.
“Me too.”
Paul looked down at her hands, and then a look of horror struck his face.
“Wait-”
Fire instantly shredded the wooden cage to bits. Paul fell backwards, and the Crimson Crusader stepped up to Paul with a grin. She held a piece of burnt rope up.
“Idiot. You didn’t think you could just hold me hostage that easy? You’re a fool. In fact, you’re a fool to think I’d even change. You should’ve just killed me when you had the chance,” she snarled. She grabbed Paul by the neck and began to lift him up. Then, she plunged her fist into his stomach. Her fist ended up going through to the other side, and Paul let out a groan. Blood spilled from his lips and onto the Crimson Crusader’s hands, coating her skin in his blood. She began to laugh, and then dropped Paul to the ground.
“It’s kill or be killed. And you’re just gonna have to learn that.”
The Crimson Crusader began to walk up to the door of the hut. She looked back at the writhing Paul, his blood seeping out onto the ground. She smirked at the sight, and winked as he looked back at her.
“Name’s June, by the way. Maybe you wanted to hear my name before you die your pathetic death.”
June walked up to the door and walked inside. He could hear loud snoring come from one of the men. No wonder why there was no commotion. She didn’t recognize him though. He must have been another ally. But he saw the one with the frying pan sleeping on his bed peacefully.
“I should finish you off, and leave the other to grovel,” she thought with a sinister grin. But as her eyes darted around the room, another man caught her eye. She looked on in shock.
“Ben,” she whispered. She walked up to him. She wrapped her arms around his body, and then holstered him up onto her shoulders as if she were carrying a bag.
“I’ll be taking you with me dear, away from these freaks,” she whispered into his ear. She looked back at the men. And then an idea dawned upon her.
“Let’s see how you react to your dear friend dying on the ground.”
She spat on the new man’s face, and he began to stir in his sleep, slowly waking his eyes. But by the time he fully woke up, she and Ben were already gone. And all he could hear were Paul’s groans for help.
“Paul?” John asked as he looked around, “Ben? Oh crap.”
John rushed out of the hut to see Paul laying on the ground, tears running down his face, blood spilling from his abdomen. John let out a cry of sadness and anger. He rushed back into the house and began to shake Carlos up.
“Carlos, please wake up! It’s Paul! It’s Paul he’s hurt! That lady, that lady must have gotten him!”
Carlos instantly jolted up.
“WHAT?!”
“Paul’s hurt, we need to help him, now!”
The two rushed out and to Paul. They tried to shake him, but his eyes were glazing over.
“Help,” he groaned.
And then he stopped breathing.
Journey: Chapter 23
The three stood still as if they were stone. “What was that!?” Nightfall said quietly.
“I SAID, WHO DARES TO DISTRIBUTE MY SLUMBER!!!!!!!” The voice said and suddenly the rock that Nightfall was standing on cracked open and started to rise. Nightfall screeched and flailed off the top and crashed to the bottom. Just in time to see a Rock Elemental rise to his feet.
“SO YOU THREE ARE THE ONES WHO DISTRIBUTED MY SLUMBER!! FOR THAT. YOU SHALL PAY!!” The monster said as he grabbed a piece of the earth and lifted it over his head.
The three started to run, and as they did the monster threw the rock. And hit the ground in front of them, making them stop in their tracks. Forest looked and screamed as he saw the thing move towards them and gaining on them as they stood there.
“I’ll distract him, you two run towards the obelisk. I’ll catch up!!” Forest said to Crimson and Nightfall, they nodded their heads.
Forest went in one direction and got the attention of the Golem. He looked back and saw Crimson and Nightfall running down and towards the Obelisk, Forest jumped and started to glide and cloaked after a few seconds.
“WHERE HAVE YOU GONE, FEATHERED LIZARD!!!!!!!” Forest heard the Golem yell as he flew away, and he went towards the Obelisk.
~
Forest glided for some time, he kept looking back to make sure he wasn’t being chased. When he wasn’t looking back, he was looking around for Crimson and Nightfall. He was gliding extremely slowly, so that he could search the ground for them. He wasn’t sure how far they might’ve gone before stopping to wait for him or if they would continue all the way to the Green Obelisk.
He thought they might still be moving, since it was getting darker every minute that passed by. As he searched, he wondered why he was sent to the Island and why Crimson was sent here? And he wondered if the rest of the Five in the same position, as to being sent to different places?
He continued glide for a while longer before catching a glimpse of a kapro tail underneath a gap in a cliff. He quickly landed near them and saw that it was Crimson and Nightfall. They were laying on the ground, heaving as they rested.
“Thank goodness I found you guys!! Why aren’t you guys moving?” Forest asked while he walked up. Crimson glared at Forest.
“We’re tired, and I can’t feel my legs.” Nightfall said, “I think we should probably stop here for the night. So we can rest up for the next day.” Crimson said, as Nightfall began to ease backwards on to Crimson’s back.
Forest was about to argue that they should continue going, but he started to feel like he was going to drop to the ground.
“You know, I would try to convince you that we should. But I’m so tired and I can’t argue right now. Can you make some space for me in there please?” Forest said.
“Sure, here.” Crimson said as she shoved Nightfall off her and out of the gap.
“So Insomniac feather duster, you can take the first watch than I’ll take the next watch.” Crimson said to Nightfall.
Nightfall glared at her and huffed, “Well that isn’t necessary, Troodons aren’t insomniacs. We just need less sleep than most animals do.” Nightfall said.
“I’m not a feather duster, where do these creatures get these stupid phrases?!” Nightfall mumbled as he went off to find a location to watch from.
Forest laughed as he heard him continue to complain as he walked off. “You probably shouldn’t have called him that.” Forest said.
“Yeah, probably. But he was getting on my nerves.” Crimson said.
Forest laid down and curled up in nice comfortable ball. “Good night Crimson. See you at dawn.” Forest said,
“Hopefully.” Crimson said with a dark tone.

The Lost World
Chapter twenty: Unknown
Daphne sat in her office, examining the piece of orangish red fur. Adam hadn’t known what to do with it so he’d given it to her to look at. She put it in the DNA scanner and looked at her computer where the information would show up. She was startled when the words started screaming out of the computer loudly.
“SPECIES: UNKNOWN. GENDER: UNKNOWN. RELATIONS: UNKNOWN. UNKNOWN UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. COMPUTER SHUT DOWN INITIATED!!!” The computer went dark. Daphne pushed the buttons. It didn’t turn back on. Two words popped up in the screen in dark red letters. ERROR RESTART.
Daphne shook her head in amazement and walked over to the DNA scanner hoping that the piece of fur wasn’t completely destroyed. Thankfully it wasn’t. She held the fur up close to her face and squinted at it.
The light bounced off the fur. And for a second…for one tiny little second the fur looked…white? And then a burning sensation shot through her finger. “Ow!” Daphne cried, dropping it. It disintegrated as soon as it touched the floor and Daphne’s evidence was nothing more than a small pile of ashes.
~
Cedric looked back at Rowan. She was walking in the very back of the group, even behind Kannon. Her eyes darted back and forth nervously and she was nervously trying to keep her hair neat. It had started to fall from its perfect braiding. Suddenly she whirled backwards and glared at a space right behind, like there was someone there. “Shut up! Stop telling me what to do!” She hissed.
“I think she’s being weird.” Elayne whispered in Cedric’s ear, scooting closer to him for any possible protection. Cedric rolled his eyes. “Rowan? You okay?” He asked. Rowan turned back around, eyes twitching with annoyance. “Yeah I’m fine I was just telling—” She stopped and shot another annoyed look at the empty space beside her. “I’m fine.”
Cedric shook his head. “Okay if you say so.” He said. “Yo! Hurry up guys! I though you wanted to get to the dome!” Oliver called. Rowan glared at him. “Stop telling me what to do!” She growled and to prove her point she stomped past all of them, muttering under her breath.
Kannon snorted then stopped. His eyes widened and suddenly reached out and yanked Oliver backwards. A sharp rock flew past where Oliver had just been standing and hit a tree.
Elayne whimpered and hid behind Cedric. Rowan grabbed a large clump of bark, rolling to the ground and held it above her as a shield. Cedric pushed the rest of them to the ground.
“Who’s there?!” He bellowed. “It’s five against one!” Oliver poked his head up. “Hypothetically speaking, there could be more of them.” Cedric pushed Oliver down. “Shut up, you’re ruining my speech!”
A rustling came out of the bushes in front of them and a small girl, almost eight, popped out. She had dark chestnut brown hair that fell to her shoulders, and her bangs covered her eyes slightly, a heavily freckled face, a slightly crooked nose and Forest colored eyes. She was holding a crudely fashioned slingshot in her hands.
“Cedric? Is that you?” She asked, her voice was very squeaky like a mouse. “Pip squeak!!” Cedric exclaimed excitedly. The girl smiled widely, several teeth were missing. The girl burst through the bushes and wrapped her small arms around his waist. “Oliver, my cousin Elayne, that girl Rowan and Oliver’s friend Kannon are here too.” Cedric said.
Slowly Kannon, Elayne, Oliver, and Rowan stood to their feet. The girl’s eyes filled with tears of happiness when she saw Oliver. She rushed over to him and he hugged her protectively. “Liv! It’s so good to see you!! Are you okay?” Oliver asked. The girl, Liv, nodded vigorously, to happy to say anything.
“And WHO is this?” Rowan asked grumpily. “Yeah I had to crouch in the dirt because of her!” Elayne exclaimed, whiningly.
Oliver grinned proudly. “This is my little sister..Liv. Now, Liv what were you doing? You could have gotten hurt if you hadn’t revealed who you were!” Liv beamed, seemingly oblivious to the danger she had put herself in. “I was standing guard!” She squeaked. “For what?” Cedric asked. “For who?” Oliver asked.
Liv grabbed Oliver’s hand and began leading him forward. The others followed. “Come! I’ll show you!”
~
The girl, Liv, led them to a dark cave. “Why are there so many caves here?” Cedric wondered aloud. Rowan was walking in the back again, ready for a trap or something. Sunny sat perched on Cedric’s shoulders who walked in front of Rowan.
“Ooh it’s so dark in here!” Sunny exclaimed happily. Rowan rolled her eyes. “So? What do you care? You’re not even real? Wait…if you’re not real then why am I talking to you?! Okay I’m done talking with you!” Rowan decided angrily.
Sunny turned her head to look at Rowan, grinning slyly. “Oh Rowan…I am real. How could you not believe that? That’s just hurtful.”
“Yeah right.” Rowan said, rolling her eyes. Sunny hopped down from Cedric’s shoulders and padded along beside Rowan, much to her disgust.
“Here we are.” Liv finally said. It was a dark room of the cave. The walls were cold and slick, moss growing on them. A small drip of water fell from the ceiling, slowly landing in a tightly woven basket. “Who’s there?” A hoarse voice called from within the caves. “It’s me.” Liv said. A deep sigh echoed toward them. “Ahh Liv. You know…I don’t really like you wandering off to “stand guard” or “hunt”. Your mother will kill me if you die on my watch.” The person said.
Then began coughing violently. Liv frowned. “But I didn’t ask you to watch me. I found you!” She said. Another round of coughing followed. Finally he stopped. “True. And plus I’ll probably die anyways. Then I won’t have to deal with Elizabeth.”
“You’re not going to die. Don’t say that. Please.” Liv begged, running forward to where the voice was coming from.
The other followed her. On a pile of soft moss a man lay. His chest rose up and down, his breathing strange. Blood stained his shirt, though his jacket concealed most of it. “William!” Cedric gasped. William turned his head slightly. “Cedric? What the crap are you doing here boy?!” He coughed. They all gathered around William, although Rowan very reluctantly. “Ooh he’s close to dying.” Sunny said, a strange glimmer, a strange darkness, of some emotion or something twinkling in her eyes.
Rowan looked at his neck. No medallion. “Oh that’s right… he married into the family.” She thought to herself. Sunny chuckled softly.
“Here. Oliver can help. He has medical expertise. He can help you William.” Cedric said hurriedly, sounding worried for once in his life. “Isn’t he your grandfather?” Rowan asked. Cedric nodded. “Then why do you call him “William”?” Cedric shrugged.
“Because he doesn’t respect his elders…or anyone for that matter. OUCH what was that for?!?? I’d rather die than have you as my doctor.” William growled at Oliver who had just pressed down on William’s chest. (Which proves how deeply he had been cut since normally if someone pressed down on his chest that wouldn’t have hurt.) Oliver waved the rest of them away except Liv. “I need some space.” He said. They backed off. Rowan went over to Kannon who she figured wouldn’t bother her.
He was sitting in the corner, staring vaguely at the wall. She snapped her fingers. No movement. “Figures..” Rowan muttered. Sunny sat down in front of Rowan and lifted a paw primly, scratching behind her ear. Rowan glared at Sunny. “Leave me alone, will you?” Rowan growled.
Sunny grinned. “Like I would.” She said, not moving. Rowan swatted at the fox and caught ahold on one of Sunny’s tails. It was cold. It felt like she’d just touched something dead, cold as snow. Sunny yanked away. “Hey watch the tail!” She hissed.
Rowan rubbed her hands together for warmth. “Sorry. Why in the world are you so freakin cold?! Why’s your name Sunny if you’re cool?!” Sunny shrugged. “I don’t know whatcha mean. Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’m going to go now since you decided to do rudely grab my tail, hmph!” And with that Sunny marched off and cuddled up in the corner across from Rowan.
Rowan rolled her eyes. “Sorry..” She muttered under her breath. “At least I only grabbed ONE one of your tails..”
A lone lantern hung in the middle of the cave, lighting the place dimly. She leaned against the cave wall and closed her eyes, trying to figure out how to get out of this place.
In the back of her mind she registered that Sunny was humming. A eerie familiar sounding tune…

The Red Pike (Crossover)
Red Dragon
Part 1
Nerva looked over his legion. It had been amassed by his most loyal supporters. He wanted to accomplish what his Grandfather could not, and conquer the Ark. Gaius Marcellus Nerva had a huge army, sure, but not this huge. He saw almost a thousand soldiers, not even including the Trikes, Rexes, Carnos, Spinos, and Stegos. “Men and women of my army! We will conquer The Island, and every Ark! I am Vaius Marcellus Nerva, grandson of Gaius Marcellus Nerva! The Red Legion goes to war today!” They Marched off Far’s Peak, and went towards their first target. Herbivore island. They already had Mosasaurs, Rafts, and Plesiosaurs with platform saddles ready to transport them to herbivore island. This was the day, the day the Red Legion would be known as a name survivors everywhere feared.
Make sure you check out the other fanfictioners crossover, this will be an interconnected story. More info in white dye tips.
Ps4 official is basically impossible to tame a stryder right now. It says affinity gained by goes back down to zero, it shocks you. Even fails when you click in the green. I believe it's a ping issue or a bug but it makes things very difficult to the point of not even bothering

The Red Pike
Nerva’s story part 2
Nerva looked into the water. He saw a Megalodon. They were everywhere around the island. Thankfully, it was afraid of all the creatures and ships and didn’t dare attack. He wondered if this would be the last megalodon he saw. It was entirely possible that he could die when trying to take Herbivore Island from what’s left of the Painted Sharks, like he died in battle right before he arrived on the island. The Painted Sharks were his father’s arch-enemy (besides Li, of course). It would feel good to get revenge. Just then, tentacles came up out of the water. It dragged a mosa down underwater, than a motorboat, then a plesiosaur. This was a tusoteuthis.
The Future Hurts. A Lot.
Chapter Two
I sighed as I heard a knock on the door. I rubbed my eyes and walked over, opening the door. I saw the exact same stranger as before
"Lemme guess. Its time?" i said, slightly annoyed
"Yeeeppp.." he said happily
i sighed and walked back inside, grabbed my bag that i had packed, and Sparks. I then followed the man outside, and hopped onto Cyan.
"Cyan, follow that man, and stay on high alert"
i whispered, still suspicious of the man. Cyan squacked and followed the man after tucking sparks into his saddle bag.
the mans dodo was running away from the town, which was making my suspicions grow. Awhile later, we finally stopped, and my gaze was locked on something beautiful. In a land full of robots and tek, this forest was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen. We had stopped near a few other people, who were watching us closely. There was 2 guys, and 2 girls, me included. The guys were both riding tek raptors and the other girl was riding a tek baryonx.
I waved happily, which was replied to with more waves. I rode cyan over to the others, Sparks chirping quietly in the saddle bag.
"So, howd you guys get roped into this?" i asked, trying to start small talk.
"Got cornered while dragging metal." the girl responded, which was the only response she got.
Sparks squacked, before forcing his way out of the bag and onto my lap. I pat his head once more, stroking his feathers. I looked up as the man started to speak
"As you all know, you are here to scout out the forest, and search for weaknesses. You shall set off now, and not leave until you find a weakness. Understood?" he said, looking each of us in the eyes
We all nodded, and set off into the forest. As soon as we entered, I felt like a million pairs of eyes were staring at me. I internally started to panic, but tried not to show it on the outside. As soon as I showed a weakness, everything inside this forest would use it against me in a split second.
