far as i can see , it must move freelee in order to tame it, ive you trap it its taming stays one 0 after hacking it.

Ive you tamed it no saddle is needed, and its got a bed/ spire/ and build platform waiting on its back for you ..

The new Stryders will have 12 different types that will gather or behave differently from others kinda like Gatchas but with more capabilities.

Who thinks this would make the ultimate TEK base?

It’s in genesis part two and has a built in bed. You have to hack into it to tame.

Tip for mutagel don’t know if this will be changed but if you power punch the rocks that give you some in the lunar biome you will get lots!

From what I can tell there are 3 classifications.

1. Attack- this is the head attachment that looks like mouse ears (Scans nearby threats and shows health bars.) And the cannon chest attachment (fires a plasma ball that explodes on impact.)

2. Defense- this is the head attachment that looks like deer antlers (uses a sonic pulse that impairs enemies[needs work, not very useful]) and the chest piece that actually juts up from the hips and looks like speakers (creates a force field in front of striders view zone[only effective against projectiles at distance])

3. Harvesting- Head attachment thats slinder, looks like a cannon(planet terraforming god, point, click and harvest) and the chest piece that looks like a small cannon close to the chest (accesses world mining drills for resources.)

Misc- there are a few other body styles I've seen but haven't discovered those uses yet.

If you have a private rented server, you can add these to other maps and they won't require missions to tame, just mutagel, which can be added into drops.

These things require alot of missions to complete depending on their level such as for me a Lv 50 needs 14 missions completed

Passive taming. Complete missions and collect mutagel to tame. Once you have that then ride it to hack. Game is similar to how you bang mammoths drums or play guitar hero. Take your pick. Then tada styder

After his comes out, Brontosaurus’s, paraceratheriums, and diplodocus’ will be rendered useless. This thing is al of these combined but 1000x better.

How does someone know it has a platform saddle if it even isn't out yet I'm confusrd

Do you want to make this taming process much easier? If so, tame a Diplodocus and bring it to the Tek Stryder. Begin the hack, and when it needs to wander, push it away with the Diplodocus, then hack it again. Repeat this process until it's tamed!

Turn on its laser farmer and it will harvest anything. low levels are fine. if your near metal it will harvest stone metal and flint from the metal rock. i’ve had around 10k metal in my tek stryder with about 10 stacks of flint easily. it is also the best berry farmer in the game because it harvests all the berries instantly with a big radius.

You can not tame it while holding ot with a tek skif And u dont ned to be colse to the dedi it is linked to to thransfer items so you can farm all over the map without having to worie about waight

I think if you get too far away while playing mini game you lose signal which causes you to fail hacking attempt

i wonder why i failed like 10 times when hacking, pressed lmb when the rectangle is aligned and poof, got electrocuted.

You have to complete a certain amount of missions based on their level
