A guide to the Eden zone and Stryder (next guide in shadow mane)
The Eden zone is a friendly area with a Maewings and Stryder. First, let’s start with the Stryder. The Stryder is tamed by hacking it, and can be accessed by using your jet pack to fly on to its back. You have to complete a specific amount of missions for a Stryder, depending on the level. You also need mutagel, which I would explain how to get, but I don’t know how to. The Stryder is also neutral, with lots of health, so be careful if you wish to kill it on foot, otherwise it isn’t too hard with a mount. Now to the Eden zone
Part 2: The Eden Zone
The Eden zone is pretty friendly, unless your in the upper bit. I’ve found lots of alpha creatures, an alpha rex, an alpha carno, and three alpha raptors! Surprising, yeah? Most of the dangerous things are in the upper half of the map, near the mountains. In the lower half of the map, you can find maewings and small predators like dilos or compies, along with medium to small herbivores. Next, there’s the upper half, which has medium to big predators and herbivores. Rexes, yuties, Carnos, and other things spawn near mountains. If your looking for an argentavis, I’ve seen some to the far right of the upper half near the wall. There should be a small mountain, and if you go there you can find argentavis. If you fly upwards, you can find snow owls, pteranodons, and uncommonly, tappies. That’s a basic guide to the Eden zone, the next guide will be in shadow mane, as stated above.

Theres a bug on console at the moment where you do the hack correctly but it still says it failed and makes it almost impossible to tame a stryder without the ark evolution event.
When you find them you will notice each one has different attachments. After finding the one you want you will have to hack it, but everyone itn the area will be alerted.
Once tamed, it’s a mobile transmitter!
They are too good at harvesting to the point my game crashed😂
Just like to say, missions don’t carry over from gen1 for stryder taming, they have to be gen 2 missions. Also it seems like the attachments affect the number of missions you need, not just the level
They have 2 modules, one small and one large. The small one goes on the head, and the large goes on the torso. As far as I can tell, there is no way to remove them, so you just have to find one with the ones you want. Certain combinations compliment each other, so you can find specific stryders with modules suited for what you need.
(Do not take anything I write as Fact) I do believe the attachments that these tek creatures possess are not craftables and just simply spawn with them, Taming them involves a mini-game like Tamimg method, where you hack the creature and defend it from other creatures
It pooped a single element shard. Did a little squat and there was a package underneath like it tossed it out.
Styder will probably be more of a utility dino in genesis part two than a war mount. Idk yet, but so far it looks like it.
1: It has a harvesting laser
2:Supposingly there is a sleeping pod of some sort inside.
3:Syntac says there might be a tek transmitter inside
All in all, this creature already sounds pretty freaking good, imagine if they make a combat laser attachment to this fella! 😳 It’s really sad we have to wait till March...I mean, we thought crystal isles took a long time! I hope it’ll be worth the wait.
I think it would be really cool if this could absorb plants and trees and truth them into element shards
When I tried to tame one I thought it was a to hack but it is right trigger and you take damage from failings hacks
You can tame one early game you just need either mutagel or mutagen one of the two the amount will change with the level also passive tame
