The wiki says taming a lv 120 on mejos, for example, will take over five hours. DD says two hours. Who is right?

These guys are actually really useful for gathering narcoberries.

Hardened stance prevents karkinos from grabbing you off its back

Highly recommend one of these if you're venturing into the redwoods. Microraptors can't smack you off them (at least in hard plate stance)

The stego is slow it's good at gathering berries and it has long range at hitting

Probably the best for Narcoberries early game, significantly better than the Trike.

It's very tanky and easy to tame, a must tame in the begging or even late game as it provide a super easy way to collect a lot of berries wood thatch you name it while also being a tank and you can also equip crossbow or other weapons to tame / fight other creatures.

It can even stunlock people/dinos and deal big damage percentage health over time. Also it can massively slow them down.

In the early game this was the single most useful tame for gathering wood. It can carry lots and gathers it well, also if u don’t name it Steve ur weird

Taming a stego with slingshot has way too high of a chance of just killing the beast rather than knocking it out. Much better to grind the tranq arrows and materials for a simple trap.

Guys this is how to tame: go on a rock higher so it won’t attack then shoot tranq arrows with crossbow then feed berrys

When tamed there really fast and can carry a lot I have one and I normally use it when farming and when I’m encumbered

With the new patch, the stego is a must-have for gathering wood. On my game, it’s even more efficient than castors.

A stego is a very powerful ally on a trek. It has a very broad tail swing, which can knock back an entire side of attackers, and is a machine when it comes to gathering tons of berries for food and lots of thatch for temporary fires and bases.

One of the most useful dino in the game. Very easy to find and tame. After tamed they can gather good amount of wood and thatch also some berries. They can change their plate mode to deal more damage, slow down the enemies or to be tank. Besides from it they had good base health and weight. Also you can use their alternate attack to drain enemy's stamina and run away from big predators.

Tip how to tame a stego get a bow or crossbow better to use the one with more damage but so good early game I got so mush done with my stego called spark

I tamed it with a slingshot then it proceeded to gather thousands of wood, thatch, and berries, kill alpha raptors, raptors, allos, Carnos, and diplos. TAME THESE
