Used mine with about 440 melee dmg to take down a theri across from my base and i was like this is suicide and really stupid but i have my stupid reputation to keep up so i just went to it on my raft but first tried to kill it with my ballista missed twice so juat decided to go for it. Moral of the story is to just go for it when you have 440 melee and 650 health the thing barely touched me and scarlet but anyways i shot of the back of it with a longneck and fu*&ed up a carno.

You can hide behind the big plates and dodge arrows

Use it for soaking bullet damage when raiding

This big boi is OP. Their also easy to tame., just use a slingshot. Their not that fast u just have to keep moving(just make sure u have enough stam) AND BOOM U HAVE NEEDLE BOI.👍

I’ve started using one for taming. It’s an absolute tank. The poor thing is a punching bag. I just sit on it and let dinos attack it as I shoot with Tranqs. I’ve tamed a low level spino this way and knocked out a Rex too. Unfortunately the dilo’s in the area got to the Rex first before I could tame it. I didn’t name it expecting it to die. Not sure what to call it now, it’s unstoppable!

I suggest not trying to tame it on herbivore island cause when it runs away it goes into the water and drowns when I gets knocked

Boost free first knock it and dont feed it watch its food status and if it's 3000 let it decrease to 1000 and feed it some berries and it will tame very fast

The stegosaurus are needed a lot of patience to tame. Try netting them and then knock them out.

Make sure that you make a 2x2 and put stone doorframes on it and make stairs so it can get in then just shoot it with tranq arrows or darts and if you want more safety build wooden spikes around it

When you soak turrets with a stego use a rocket and brake all the turrets😈.

I was still a primitive caveman when I thought I might as well tame a strong Dino that is easy to tame. This guy requires 7 tranq arrows from a bow and a lot of berries easy to get from a parasaur and now I have a really strong Dino

He is very strong he can stun enemy's and make them 50 -70 % slower and do some decent damage at the same time with his attacks his secondary attack implaes one enemy gashes them and does minal damage and stuns them I killed a lvl 66 and 50 x raptor with a lvl 23 of these guys

Really easy to tame! All you need is 30 tranq arrows, sarco kibble, and a soothing balm! Hope this helped a bit!

If you have a stego already, a good strategy would be to ride your previously tamed stego with heavy plate equipped. You hit the stego with heavy plate to start, slowing it while aggroing so it stays in range, then switch to hardened plate (the slowing debuff should give you plenty of time to do so) then, equip a crossbow with tranq arrows (personal preference, but ultimately it’s up to you) the aggro on the stego will keep it close enough to be able to steadily headshot the stego, while you being in your stego will prevent it from retaliating and lowering its health. You will probably have to periodically hit the stego with heavy plate equipped to keep the slowing debuff active, but other than that you should be fine
