sup I’m the guy who gave the name idea “Slappy xD” in name ideas. So ima tell u how to tame it. (Based on my own experience) so first method: tanking the hits. Bring a tanky mount like steg (I really recommend steg bc u can hold weapon and crazy tanking) bring yo steg to yo desired spino then let yo steg take the hits and shoot it when it runs chase it bc BELIEVE IN YO SELF. 2th method: Trap and bear trap spams. u see, bring a fast and good mount (Recommend a high lvl carno) build a trap u make for a gig but leave one side open.

u might want to make a trap like this. \_/. put as many as trap bears u can in the middle, Aggro yo desired spino, head to yo trap and let it get stuck get off yo mount and shoot it quick with yo ammo choice.

LEAST EFFECTIVE TO BEST EFFECTIVE FOOD: (bad to good from my opinion tho) raw fish meat, cooked fish meat, raw prime fish meat, raw meat, cooked lamb chop, cooked prime meat, prime meat, and kibble.

AMMO CHOICE: if it’s a high lvl: u can use crossbow but I’d recommend darts since it wouldnt last as much in the spammed trap. But if it’s low lvl, u prolly gtta use darts from my opinion bc it might die while crossbowing it.

I could’ve sworn these things dropped their sail as a trophy yet Dododex claims they don’t they also don’t on mobile but I used to play on Xbox I still do but not very often. Am I just crazy or did they really drop their sail

Don’t be afraid I was paranoid of them but my tame took 30 minutes and was super easy and he was worth it he was Lel 1 but that’s how I operate

They spawn in water they extremely dangerous

If mistaken as a rock, look closer and you’ll see their seriously oversized spines.

If you want to tame one you have found the right guy so here is how do it get on a cliff because these things are massive so no rock shall do then shoot it with normal arrows then when he starts running start loading tranqs on him till he’s knocked out tranq arrows will do because they have quite low torpor then feed him fish/prime fish meat you will need a few not too many narcotics/ bio toxins then you got your self a spino. like if this helped

So I was just usually going to get some iron to repair my stuff at a near mountain, and as I accidentally fell/slid down the mountain, near a SWAMP, I saw 2 of these things just mass murdering, I saw them 1 hit a Therizino which, this was at a point where I was only level 34 and I thought that, that, was the power of a god, so I just hid behind a rock as they were passing by waiting to run, after they stopped looking, and look, if your tryna outrun these things, you gotta know, THEY WILL CATCH UP, they are the Godspeed of ark, (at least that’s what I thought at that level) oh yeah, and if you see these things, unless you have a flying creature right next to you with a saddle, Run, or hide

They’re so vicious. I love them🥹

Spino VS Rex! Who will win?!?! Amount of attacks: Spino- 2 attacks. Rex- 1 attack. Plus---- The Spino has a buff when they touch water that lasts for 30 seconds. One thing that the Spino can do is either run on 4 legs or on 2 legs, the Spino has 1 attack but that attack changes depending on if the Spino is walking/Running. As far as I know, only 3 wild carnivores will aggro onto the sight of your spino, other Spinos, Rexes, and Gigas. You can probably outfight other spinos, outrun rexes, or outfight lower level ones, and outrun gigas. Very useful.
