Find 450 shit yourself and fill full of tranqs
It is one of my mildly easiest all you need is a lot of narcotic and plenty of tranq arrows
WARNING: the spinos knockout decreases fast and if you don't have any more meat or narcotic on you your screwed
They are not easy to tame if you see one I recommend running if you’re a low level
Im just taming my spino, nothing big. Then i see a sarco BLAST ONTO MY SCREEN. IM HAVING A LOT OF FUN. *dies*
Take more mutton than it says mine said 33 took like 40
Just use 2 giant bear trap and place them in a line with a but distance, then use a crossbow with good amount of tranq arrows.. I used this method and tamed 4 of em
Go on a hill and tranq it maintain it’s torpor so it does not wake up use you food of choice raw fish meat, raw prime fish meat, kibble
On mobile they spwan around rivers and in rivers and occasionally the swamp or swamp red woods border now they are fast so a trap is recommended put a bunch of stone foundations and then stone doorframes all around stacked up on each other put 4 of them stacked for each side and then 2 wooden ramps lure the spino in and get out though a little gap enough for a player to get though then tranq it out prime fish works best but prime meat will work too it will just take a bit longer and bring around 100 bio toxin or narcotics then wait a bit and you got a spino
DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE THAT SAY THIS IS EASY TO TAME these guys are fast and dangerous I tried taming one without a trap with tranq arrows and just kept running around if you plan on taming it without tranq darts use a trap
Hi spinos are my favourite Dino in ark one of my recommendations to find the is on the island, is you got to the first spawning option and go the backish area.
(Btw if you have a higher difficulty you will get more
Takes a 2x2x3 cage with a ramp. Don’t make two or less walls high - it will climb out. Better kite it on a flier or have decent hp and armor - it will catch up and hit you due to hydration buff. Remember to bring narcotics - unlike rex, spino doesn’t stay down for a very long time.
On the island ther is a lot of them behind the redwoods
I've tamed many spinos all from the same trap, 4 stone dino gates and one large bear trap. Place three down so you can make a rectanlge out of the four, then put the large bear trap down inside of them. Shoot the spino, and run through the trap. Go to the other side and place the dino gate to finish the rectangle. Now you just need lots of narcotic arrows and lots of narcotics( boi toxin works best). I tamed 10 spinos on mobile with this method, one being level 200. But the trap works great for other gaming devices to.
Was contemplating whether to attempt gaming one of these and finally went for it. My first carnivorous animal tame. Miraculously knocked it down and tamed it to completion. While leading it back, it got stuck in some unbreakable rocks. Had to build foundations and walls before finally getting it out after about 30 mins of trying. As soon as it was free it was swarmed by jellyfish and pirhanas and died. RIP
They have really handy water buff,
If you go in water, they are strenger
When you see a loan 15 spino get 18 tqrac arrows and some fish and alot of drugs
I needed more narcotics for a level 150 dododex... i tamed it because i was near my base but some people could no be as lucky as me...
At redwoods lake I found one lvl 120, it ended 179 and after some training it reached 18k of HP and 700% of melee damage, it’s an absolute BEAST! I can take on alpha rexes, alpha megalodons, and almost any other creature (expect wild gigas and titanosaur), it’s a very versatile Dino, totally recommended!
Umm so I have a question. is the game broken? Because in the tips they say that beaches have the lowest treats and fewest resources but I found out that beaches have fewest resources and it is also hangout spot of the spino and theri so is this a normal thing or a bug ?
