At redwoods lake I found one lvl 120, it ended 179 and after some training it reached 18k of HP and 700% of melee damage, it’s an absolute BEAST! I can take on alpha rexes, alpha megalodons, and almost any other creature (expect wild gigas and titanosaur), it’s a very versatile Dino, totally recommended!

Umm so I have a question. is the game broken? Because in the tips they say that beaches have the lowest treats and fewest resources but I found out that beaches have fewest resources and it is also hangout spot of the spino and theri so is this a normal thing or a bug ?

See one in your river(beach) run! The one in my river killed 2 tortoise things(forgot what they were called) 2 trikes tried to kill a Petra and my dilo

Find recently started breeding X Spinosaurus and I come out with even better stash than before which makes them even better than the Rex because it in my point of view they are a better breeder

70% more likely to find high level spinos in the volcanos ponds. 20% more likely to find a 150 spino the ponds. Basically.. hit the volcano for a decent spino.

I used 5 stone dino gates to trap them (they don't damage stone structures) I also managed to trap a 140 and 150 next to one another, so it definitely works.

It was already a great, multiterrain mount to begin with, and now that the TLC added water boosts and different modes (bipedal/quadrupedal), it makes meat runs and everything so much better.

In Aberration those guy are really useful since theyre the only mount that can go toe to toe whit any of your problem

The tamin effectiveness and the length you need to wait until it tames is no longer even remotely accurate. I was taking a lvl 140 last night, 2:54:00 until he is starved it says, so I wait the 3 hours and put in my mutton, it only takes it to 50% where it it supposed to be 100% and the taming effectiveness was significantly lower already than it should have been. Fact- Mutton Taming Time/Effectivness= Broken

A Spino loses torpor VERY quickly after being knocked out. Remember that torpor doesn't drop when it's rising after a narcotic is fed, so gradually feed it narcotics - dont spam 30 and then walk away. You'll go farther on less drugs.

Tamed a perfect 150 spins on aberration and leveled it up to 297 can easily take out a wild reaper queen level 15

To tame i suggest that you make a trap and us trank darts and make sure to keep checking on it

Shoot with tranqs and use tree's to obstruct his chase try to make him turn in the tree's works like a charm just don't get to close and if you can put wild dino in between you and the spino

Me and my friend have 2 spinos and they are mate boosted and destroy everything great for meat runs and killing alphas just lead them into the ocean and go ham

How i tamed a spino:

Full flak armor

10 bear traps

And a crossbow and sone trank arrows

Just bring a sickle with you and a sword so that when you sickle a sabertooth salmon you get raw prime meat.

I recommend getting a female argetavis before taming a spino for the kibles.

Also breed raptors and kill its babies to get raw prime meat 1 baby raptor is like 10 prime meat so make sure to cook it in time and turn it into jerky

I'm at level 9 and this level 21 spino has spawned near my base, I'm going to gather as many narcotics and as much meat (preferably fish) as possible and kill it with tranq arrows in a few days, ☝️ if its a good idea down if its a bad idea

How do I knock it out

These could work as an alternate boss killing army, particularly in the Broodmother arena due to there being standing water.

Also PRO TIP: On one of the wikis it says the Spinos get their buff from placing full water jars in their inventories, but this is not true. It only works with standing water like laked, rivers, or puddles
