Ive never tamed a raptor before and unlucky me the one time i goed to tame some this happend... i took my trike and one of my many dilos, first it was good, killed some alligators got the nice LVL then i found a raptor, but it saw me first so sadly i had to kill it, same story for awhile. next up i saw it.. the spino.. i thought it was neutral so i approached it... i was wrong... as my pets fought it to make it even more unfourtunate my bow broke and all i could do was gather resources for a new one as my pets were being slayed... with my new bow, i approached the spino and because of thr damage my dinos dealth.. i managed to kill the foe.. i was happy i leveled up and after that i managed to get myself a raptor.. but was it worth it?

I posted a tip on the fact that Spinos are better than rexes, and tbh, they still are. The tip has above 600 likes. I did end up taming a pair of rexes, and breeding them. They had a baby rex that I painted blue and fully imprinted, and pumped all its points into melee. And guess what? I've only pumped a few points into melee on my spino.... AND THE MELEE IS ACTUALLY COMPARABLE! I rest my case. Spinos are also verrry fast. Lol my Spino has WAYYY more damage than my Giga.

Hello, all! Here’s a story!

I had a spino named Bubbles. He max level (150) and a BEAST. I think he had maybe 30,000 health. He was so loyal, and so brave. Until it all went down...

Me and Bubbles were out hunting for EXP for my otter, Nibbles. We found two mated rexes, and attacked. We easily killed them both, and Nibbles got plenty of experience. Once we returned to the base, my tribemate was going insane, screaming. I raced over, still mounted on Bubbles, and asked what was happening. β€œWe’re being raided!” He shouted in a horrified fashion. I immediately turned and raced out on Bubbles. He fought to his last breath, his last attack being driving a giga away from out argy, Toriel (#PrayForToriel). Sadly, Bubbles didn’t make it. But that act of bravery and his fearsome fighting won us that battle. So now, comrades, remember to appreciate your tames. They may eventually die, defending you loyally.

I hate these dam beasts my first base I was literally still building it and a spino comes around the cliff and my first rideable tame a phiomia and it died but I began to make an army of dodos moschops basically anything I could find and I killed that thing ever since that day I have slaughtered spinos on site

me and my friend were trying to tame a dino when a whole spino spawned next our base our hearts disappeared into the shadow realm when we saw it so we made a run for our base then ark has the odacitty to spawn to pegos that steal my 83 tranc arrows so we kill those and the spino gets stuck so we approach it and its actually stuck so we kill it then we go insane after that and quit ark for a while then ark asks me how my experience was.

Dont do what I did, ALWAYS BRING A LOTTA NARCOTICS. I was taming one and only had like 13 narcotics. To make a long story short, I woke up and I had to fly away on mt pteradon.

So this was before I could join my server and had friends play first.

My goofy Ah friend kept leading spinous to our base and Grampa(pretty much the veteran of the game) kept leading it away. So one day he decided to lead it over again but found it dead to 2 theri. He then proceeded to lead them over so we had to use the ballista turret😭😭😭

I had a Spino once. His name was J.J. I loved him. But like always, good things always come to an end. We were out looking for giant turtles for their keratin when J.J. fell over the edge of a cliff. I was on my pteradon so I flew over the edge and J.J. was following me back to bace when he was killed my a therizinosaurus... I just sat there on my pteradon watching him be torn apart, unable to help... So now, my bace is called Fort J.J. in honor of him. I will always remember my most loyal friend.

So I started a new save and was looking for some excitement, and I saw a 105 spino near my base. I immediately got the stupid idea to try and tame it on raptor back knowing full well it's faster than my raptor but oh well didn't have much to lose. I managed to tranq it after a segment of professional kiting and as I was collecting fish prime meat a pirahna bit it once, lost 2 levels and I lost a piece of my soul. It tamed up and killed the alpha raptors surrounding it. I was rewarded with a 180% revolver. I love that spino

Spino is my absolute FAV Dino. I haven’t seen one in ark cus I kinda like to keep to my own little area. There is a spino spawn thing a little farther than I have gone. Should I?
