This animal is the best tame in the game. Its own feces tames the 2nd best tame in extinction. The capabilities of this tame are quiet amazing with its freezing dive bomb and dive glide from the griffin along with the shield of ice that has an aoe effect to not only freeze but heal both enemies, players, tames, and wilds. This allows for you to protect yourself from others or heal up tames like the doedic did but better. It also has thermal vision allowing one to see every lifeform at night while flying which is great for finding that animal you’d tryin to tame or to find someone in their base. Yes you can see through walls with this and the scouter. It also carries the basic abilities of a argy with reduced weight and healing from eating carcasses and providing you with a good amount of health and dmg. I recommend a meat eater like the velonisuar first so you have some way to get meat for it

With it’s heal ability you can now take a bear with arrows

Sneaky megalosaurus in certain maps spawn outside of caves (e.g. lost island tundra). Using the snow owls you can detect them in the morning while they're sleeping! They'll look like a curled up chicken in the heat vision.

Very good for healing dinos mid pvp and also can drop on enemies and freeze them, or your friends ;)

So on pve you can spam putting them in cryo pods and letting them out for owl pellets

by using the frost attack it will heal other creatures in front of the snow owl and the player will also be healed but this comes at a cost it will take all you’re in the food bar and it will not heal itself!

Make sure you tame this away from corrupted creatures, there torpor goes down very slowly. I knocked a 150 out and it landed next to a corrupted stegosaurus. It got attacked, I saved the owl but then had to wait about an hour and a half so I would wake up. I didn’t make stims 🥺🥺🥺

Guys if you have snow owl in genis in like single player use the snow owls thermal vision to see all magmasaurs in the area

Difinatly best flyer for speed it can heal and tank with the heal its fast can do a dive which slows down enemys by a lot when impacting with the ground if the dive doas not impact and you hold shift it will have high speed upon taking off instantly after that+as a added bonus imprinted snow owls get a speed boost(massive)

Tame a high level male and female. Being to Scorched or Rag. Breed em and try to get a pair with high health and stam. Breed 20+ and imprint them all. Bring one into the Wyvern trench and steal an egg, bring back the Wyverns to you turrets and/or trap that you set up, repeat until you have an army of Wyverns. If your owl gets hurt, you can heal yourself with the freeze attack, and keep on going. If you can’t find any Wyverns, and your suspicious that there might be more around, use the thermal vision. Ultimate Wyvern tame. Gains speed when imprinted. 20/10 would spawn one in in every map.

This guy can be a godsend when it comes to taming. Scared of accidentally killing something you are tranquilizing? Freeze and heal the dino and keep on pumping.

Know that if you hatch an egg the babies eat really fast, and I mean really fast

Currently eats a stack of meat every 2 minutes through the baby stage, that 5x what a normal baby eats.

Are capable of freezing and healing dinosaur, including wild ones. This makes them a must-tame for all players. They can also crash down for a long stun which can be used for trolling
