Taming is super easy on Genesis 2. The tek armor helps you tank damage while shooting it in the face with arrows. If you stand against a wall it's even better. When the owl starts torpor running, start flying after it. Wait until it slows down and start shooting while hovering. It won't take long for it to go down.

In my experience, these guys have a slow torpor drain so you should be fine. You can still bring narcotics if you want to be safe.

It would seem that there is a glitch with snow owl you can not breed them sometimes does anyone know what the problem is

When hatching I used an air conditioner and one standing torch

i was tranquilizing this creature and when it was knocked out, it said it was a passive tame!

not great if you want power and damage but very manouverable and lightning quick

Use an argy trap but double the length and keep an extra gatedoor in your inventory, close one gate and lure it in via the other side, while riding on a tame that can tank a few hits.

When you got it and yourself trapped move around and try to split you and the owl via placing the the gate door in between. You can now let out of the trap and tranq your flying snowbal :D

Bdw use tranq darts you don't want to know how much owls I have killed using my crosbow
