Griffin +argintitis= something better then both ( aka snow owl ) it’s purely the best flyer and also can walk backwards.

To the person who asked if they’re in mobile, yes they are (with the new update to make it Ultimate Mobile Edition) but you have to pay for the DLCs that have them.

Handles like an Argy, but can heal your dink’s/itself by freezing its entire body, plus it has the same divebomb attack as the Griffin.

You can use a snow owl to head a baby wyvern instead of getting it milk

Probably a bug but when you dive with it and turn up last second you land then wait a second fly again and you get a massive burst of speed

You can use snowy owls to raise wyverns without milk just heal them when they get weak

If you plan on raising the snow owl eats a lot of food just like a giga

If you heal in midair once tamed, you fall to the ground and any tames or wild dinos will be frozen if you touch them.

Probably one of the best flyer dinos in the game.

I'm pretty sure they have a smaller hitbox than argentavis so if you use an argy trap you might have to make it smaller.

Best kept secret in ARK:

Bring the Snow Owl for KO tames. Normally, if the dino got low on health before it went down, you'll lose a lot of taming effectiveness. However, if you use the owl's healing ability to bring the sleeping dinos HP back up *before* you start feeding it, you will not lose any taming effectiveness because of damage. Furthermore, if crap happens and something hurts the dino and drops the TE after you've already started, you can heal them, let them wake up, and start over if you're determined to tame it with max bonus levels.

Note: I tested this with a Doedicurus that was down to a silver of HP because a rex decided to attack just as I was knocking it out. I retained 100% taming effectiveness by fully healing it with the owl before feeding it any kibble to tame it. Takes a lot of the stress out of any KO tame since the heal works on all dinos, tame or wild, and even the riding survivor.

Use a net gun so many people say trap it but you can net it saving you reasorces up this so the people who have been trading them can see a better way😁

You can use them to deflate gasbags with the ice ability or whatever it's called

If dive bomb at the edge of a ledge or cliff then (if at slight enough angle to not freeze and lose your momentum) you will be sent flying forward at the speed you we’re going when you dived, and you will not lose stamina.

P.S this counts as falling, so you can’t control were your going. Also you will take fall damage so start flying again before you hit the groung

These bad boys are super useful for taming, they can help you grow plants, slow down things you’re shooting with tranq with their dive, they can heal low hp wild animals so you don’t kill them and etc. Did I say they can detect wild creatures in the dark too? Best airborne mount before wyvern and rock drake.

It’s an op mount that can use a thermal vision that is very helpful for taming. You can freeze other dinosaurs and build a trap around it.

And you will then heal them but it does use a lot of stamina so be careful
