Tips & Strategies

If you're not running a net gun don't worry. They are fast in the open but if you get them in a standard argy trap, doors closed or noy....they're a super easy tame with tranqs and they don't do too much damage while chasing you into the trap! Heat vision, healing abilty for yourself and tames, owl pellets make great fert as well as gacha food for crystals... GREAT tame to have and their saddles are also on Fjordur as well! R-Snow Owls cannot mate with ordinary snow owls by the way..

Up if you think snow owl should have a tek saddle.
NET GUNS!!! No more making yourself dizzy trying to shoot these damn things in the face. Net gun them and keep a Dino to watch you back. Super easy to check levels that way too. Up so more people see this
ARK patched how much they eat. Don’t worry about that now but still keep an eye on it. Eats 2 at a time now instead of 5.
WARNING: When raising one of these prior to hatching be sure to have at least 3 fridges full of meat because these babies are absolutely savage and eat around three to five meat at a time! Help spread the word!
Am I the only one who thinks these snow owls are adorable? They’re so cute 🥺
Since no one is saying it, R-Snow Owl spawns on the bottom left side of the right half of the Genesis 2 map. Up in the mountains. Send to top so more people can see, Dododex hasn’t updated the map spawn locations.
(HKW TO GET SADDLE) Just turn on extinction engrams to learn snow owl saddle blueprint. You dont have to buy the dlc, fjordur dlc already unlock all engrams but you must turn on it.
PLEASE Make Snow Owl Saddles Available In Fjordur. I Don’t Have Extinction, Making Me Unable To Use My Snow Owls :’D
who else thinks these should be added to ark mobile?
I don‘t know if i just keep having bad luck with knocking out these guys. I tried twice and both times the unconscious owls glitched below the map, and I couldn’t access their inventory. So, my advice is to net & knock them out on even ground and not on the side of a hill…
