If you need a tip on how to get a saddle it’s pretty straight forward! You need a lot of cementing paste which is annoying to make lol. All you need to do is find a beaver dam and they have tones in them!!!! Be careful tho cuz the beavers get mad n can kill you so have a fast tame. You can find lots of dams in the north of the island by the snow biome btw

I’m telling you right now, cliffs will really be your friend when taming. Obviously you will need meat or kibble to tame. I recommend fish meat.

You will need a good amount of tranq arrows.

Then you do the standard knockout and feed.

If your in a swamp, lure it towards you on a flyer, (preferably a low level In case it dies.)

If you don’t have a cliff nearby, just run and shoot at it until you knock it out. (Get some stamina levels, they are fast.)

Can use a 1x1 foundation, 4 doorways and a couple stairs/ramp to trap it, easy and cheap trap.

Very easy tame, crossbow and at least 6 trank arrows, and some fish meat!

If you tame one in south cave 1 you won't be able to get it done unless you have a cryopod

Tamed one at level 37, now I'm level 94 and he's still OP as hell. Damage like a T-Rex, fast in water like a speed boat and able to kill a Level 100 Mosasaurus.

This dude safed me so many times and you should definitely tame one. Just run backwards and shoot in his face, then turn and run a bit (repeat until he's knocked)

Honestly, all you have to do is repeatedly shoot at it with tranq arrows from a rock or something. i’ve discovered they’re easy to shoot because they’re so long and big, and not good climbers. of course, slow on land too. if it’s a low level you need under ten tranq arrows, but ofc if it’s higher i’d refer to more experienced players. just got my first one, super fast underwater for sure. hope this helps <3

If youre on Simple difficulty,you only need around 20 tranq arrows. Farm around 40 fish meat,it shouldn't be hard. And find a ledge where the sarco cannot completely climb. While it is on the ledge,shoot tranq arrows. Congrats,youve knocked out a low level sarco.

How to tame a sarco:

A sarco is a big crocodile that lurks in southern coasts, swamps, and rivers. It wil leap out of nowhere and it drops prime.

Materials:

A hundred arrows or so use crossbow or high percentage bow. Don’t waste darts.

A character and some ark safari tame experience.

How to tame:

1. Find sarco on land.

2. Lead it on land. In water they become Rexes to bobs.

3. Shoot tranqs on its face. Don’t get jumpscared by other Dinos especially kapros and boas.

4. Tame with FISH meat or PRIME.

5. Make an oddly costly saddle for this easily tamed bad boy.

Utility:

Defense: they do great dmg and are easy tames.

Hunting: slow on land, they have dps and insta turn on their side.

Water travel: in water they are FAST fast.

Alpha killer (aquatic): can kite alpha megs and if done with caution I BELIEVE BUT NOT SURE I think a bred and imprinted good level sarco can take on bigger threats, including caves I guess.

Guide for taming a high lvl sarcosuchus.

Step 1: Get urself up to 10/20 tranq Arrows (I used 13 for my lvl 95) and a bit of bio toxins

Step 2: shoot it while walking backwards or get on a rock and shoot it.

Step 3: when its knocked out u would stick raw meat and a few of bio toxins down its trought.

Step 4: when he's tamed get home.

Step 5: Put a saddle on his back and turborocket torpedo trough the water like a king >B3

When taking a ninety five sarco, you need about forty to forty five tranqs. Sarco are not fast at all on land, but in the water they are very fast.

If you see a lvl 145 dont get near armor will be gone.

I recommend that if you want to tame one you should get tranq arrows or a club to knock out, you can use anything else that knocks out dinos. They arent very hard to tame at all.
