I have always found the humble Sarcosuchus to be monochromatic compared to other creatures in Ark. So, when it came time for me to mutated it, I made a rainbow Sarco. He has a black snout tip, red snout and feet, yellow underbelly, cyan body, and magenta back plates. His name: Gustave. It is a fitting name, since he has 35,000 health and does over 500 damage. Although he isn't as powerful as my beloved Sobek, we still wreck anything in our path. Even wyverns.
I tamed one of these at level 10 with a slingshot I’m on easy and it was only level 5 when I tamed it but it’s been good wand make sure if you are going to tame one at a low level stand on a really higher rock and bring at least two slingshots incase one breaks you will need narcotics
So I had this couple, termigator (the female) and big boy (the male) and I had taken big boy out up and down the rivers slaughtering spinos (he was level 44) and I had come up to the swamp. So- here comes like three raptors, another sarco, and a kapro. And they just shred my poor baby. And after shredding all of them with my rex (he’s like lvl 50) I come back to termigator and take her up the River. Welp. She’s dead. A baryonx killed her😭 RIP big boy and termigator, you will be missed
Swamp Evading
PROLOGUE:
The next day, there were some creatures in our swamp. None of us knew what they were, so we just called them “humans”. One of our Kaprosuchus tried to follow them. She said she’ll return later after she kills them, but she never returned. I was scared about what would happen next. Would the next target be me? A Sarcosuchus? They might be too weak anyways. I was proved wrong. They came back with a “something” I have never seen before. It was huge. It was terrifying.

Ok I’m a newby just started yesterday and geez do I love this game but like all noobs need to do is find a good place to live so I decide on an island that has everything I need so as I’m punching trees a random change of music happens and I have experience with that but that’s another story anyways I turn around to one of the giant idiots and I probably died three times before killing it.
__________________SARCO WARCO__________________________ Part 2 Season 1, Sarco warco, a story about sarcos and me, Btw part one is somewhere in my tips idk, well then, let’s start this story, I went to the sarco i had trapped yesterday with my bow and tranq arrows, it had broken the trap, I was siked , but I didn’t give up, I went to my base and started on my journey to find a sarco, Once I got into the swamp near my house my eye caught something, it was a terror bird, My brain said TARGET AQUIRED, I really needed a terror bird at the time, So I went to it and said Let’s do this, my tribe mates popped out of the trees, I said ATTACKKKKKKKK, They all shot it with tranquilizer darts, they brought It to base and I kept journeying til’ I found it, I saw it, 👑GOLD👑 I said, that was when I found it, THE SARCO, I finally tamed it with fish meat 🥩 my tribe mates and me took it home, the sarco eventually died because I was offline too long, anyways, that’s all for now, Byeeeeeee
I remember back when I first started playing ark I tamed a Sarco and named her Serena. She was a beautiful creature, we went on many adventures scouring the oceans and the island. She was my right hand Dino, then one day fateful day we swam up to herbivore island and in the shore cove I saw a basilisauras surrounded by a prominent gang of manta. Me in my curiosity as well Ignorance hopped off the back of Serena and got a closer look, only to be instantly targeted and swarmed by a bunch of short tempered manta. After the initial manta strike Serena quickly sprung into action swimming literal laps around the manta, but things got overwhelming and I don’t know if this was an accident or not but Serena swam past me and pushed me closer to the shore, and to my surprise she killed all manta… all but one, deciding that we’ve seen enough action for the day I whistled her to follow me, but the one manta… I made my way to shore and just as Serena breached the waters surface to follow me the one manta that survived got one final hit in and I watched in horror as my Serena collapsed to her death and released her final bellow.😔 Evrytime I see a sarco I’m reminded of Serena and her sacrifice. Ann was my best friend. I didn’t think I’d get a long so much with these things, since they used to kill me allt he time, but when I tamed her at about lvl 30, we bonded immediately. I couldn’t think of a real croc name, so I called her Ann. We fought everything together. When I made a saddle, we swam to death island, killed sharks, over and over again. We collected meat and chitin for my pteranodon, she got me all the loot I could ever need, along with all my other tames.
One day we were swimming a crossed the water, to get some kills on death island. I need to level up so I could make an argent saddle, and we finally, after a long swim, set foot on the sandy beaches of the dreaded island.
I didn’t expect a thing. I had only lost a few tames to death island before, and Ann and me went there so many times when we were low lvls…
Raptors ambushed us from all sides. Didn’t mater, she bit each of them practically in half, killing a few in just two bites. I managed to tranq and another argent, maybe a breedable friend for mine, but Ann went after it as it fell from the sky to kill it.
I immediately whistled for passive, but it was too late. She jumped off the cliff the argent had fallen over, down, down, down, right where all the nasty carnivores were waiting.
I whistled as soon as I could to target. She fought alone as I grabbed my weapon and jumped down to save her, but there were five high level raptors and many, many scorpions. They bit, and stung, trapping her, and before I could do a thing, she was gone.
I practically cried that day. Please up for Ann. She loved so long.
I had just tamed a sarco but he was only level 37 so I went on a hide run to level him up. After killing a level 1 T-Rex we went back to base. Then on my way back to base we were attacked by four Meg’s and three mantas, me and my sarco fought viciously but both of us died. I was angry and came back with three spinos for revenge. All the Megs and mantas were gone in a matter of seconds.
I once had a sarco named sock. we did everything together like killing and taiming spinos and rexs. Then one day I went to taim a high level therizino. I was nealy there when a 2 high level Raptors and a high level carno ambushed me from behind some rocks. The Raptors jumped on me and the carno kill sock because he was on passive for when I was taiming rex before. 😭😭😭

Crocs got comfortable in her new spot at the edge of the water. Athena had been trying for ages to get her a new mate. Then, just today, Athena grabbed some stuff and went to the other side of the island. She came back, and behind her was a handsome, male Sarco. He introduced himself as Gatorade (strange), and sat down beside me. We talked, as Athena started to build her new, thatch base. I guess we could restart, and we just had started to do so. We were not going back to our old island. This was our new home.
