Tip for mobile players: these guys spawn all over the west zone 2 area and are a pain to deal with early game. They’re very slow on land however, so you can kill them by just keeping your distance and shooting them with a bow until they die. They give a lot of xp compared to other creatures in the area so if you need xp in west zone 2 and have the guts for it, just kill a sarco or 2

Just swim it might just swim around you instead of attacking you so that you can kill it safely

Not to hard to kill. Just stand on a rock out of reach and shoot with a bow until it dies

Why are people saying just walk backwards and shoot it in the face with tranq arrows if you want to tame it.

A good mount for deep sea drops as you can use a gps while on its back. A high level can kill a plesiosaur or low level mosa but has no chance against alpha mosa so just swim away if you see one.

Once knockout if without tame pen on raft or quetz put fence foundations around with walls instead of spikes on Xbox as titanboas slither through spikes

There good for hitting underwater drops cause you can use your GPS on them and if your being chased by something that you can't kill you can just go on land there not the fastest or strongest but there easy to get and expendable

Seems to get stuck on trees near the shore quite easily, so lure one to that spot, or simply find one stuck there already

Run around in circles and hit the tale whith club until knocked out easy low level tame

Sarcos are amazing for pearl/drop runs under water. They are faster than everything else. Just make sure to bring lots of meat and don't bite because they drop food very fast.

High level sarcos are great for underwater drop hunting and swimming around, but watch out because they consume a lot of meat!

Good for getting pearls

The bear cave on fjordur located at 10 lat 84.3 lon can give good sarco saddles

All it took was 5-6 Tranq arrows(I am a Mobile player level 43) and voila I have my own sarco(sadly the male was killed by raptors)

I have encountered a few of these beasties and have found that with just a bow and a good few arrows you can take these suckers down! Just absolutely do NOT try to fight them in water because they are SWIMMERS but quite slow on land! Good luck!!!

Definitely gives the best transportation around the island. Powerful with a range of attacks and unbeatable underwater speed. Pretty fast on land, too. I use it to quickly travel around the ocean and bring supplies to caves.
