Tips & Strategies

What are tips for sarco? Tips and strategies for sarco in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
You should be very carful one time a sarco attacked on my raft i wanted to tame him but I didn’t had much trank arrow so always cary trank arrows and a crossbow
I was on my raft this dude came out of nowhere I was trying to find the engrams for the longbow he just layed there looking like he found a unicorn so my survival instincts killed him. ;) I’m trying to tame one. But I can’t.
Bruh I JUST realized that fish literally tamed 10 faster lol. USE THE FISH
I knocked a level 25 sarco when I was level 3 because I was spinning around him/her hitting him/her with a bat and they eventually got knocked and I tamed it then it died :c
This is the only reason that im bad at ark. It just keeps on camping one area. Behind that area there’s a whole lotta Silca pearls. The only other way to get to the other side would be swimming in water infested with megladons. R.I.P me.
Best thing to do about these guys if you haven’t learned tranq arrows is stay very far away. However taming is a good idea after you have tranq, they are really not that hard to tame. Best chances are to find one and shoot it and lure it on a fast-semi fast Dino (ON LAND) to a safe place and then just load it’s AssS with tranq. Then gibe some meat and you good.
A sarco is a very nice replacement for a raft and are faster than most aquatic animals. DO NOT DO THE RUN BACKWARDS METHOOD THEY JUMP. Standing on a rock is the best way and there easy to tame. DON'T FIGHT A TRIKES. They tear sarcos up
All you need to do is to kill a psycho is use your metal hatchet and start chopping away. It is so easy I am only a newb and I have already killed at least 20
Beware of em near the grassland lakes on lost island, got scared once or twice by em 😬
Otherwise they’re great for caving on underwater caves and are super easy to tame, personally I just use a taller/heftier tanky mount like my baboon Ted to just ride on the back of to tranq, btw the grassland lakes on LI are by far the best area to tame them since there’s no threats besides hyenas
This thing is probably the best possible animal you can have for water. The stamina regenerates instantly in the water and are super fast. They are lean mean fighting machines. It is actually really easy to tame as long as you are in a high spot and have tranq arrows and a crap ton of meat. I think that the only down side is that for some reason the food always goes down really fast, so always have a lot of meat in your sarco. I named mine Stanley.
I just tamed one of these but the thing is… I’m scared of the ocean and rivers and that’s all because mega piranhas and those jellyfish things I’m very scared I will get killed and I got a lot of progress so I don’t know what to do now.
In the island, sarcos spawn pretty much everywhere in the swamps but it is not uncommon to see them in riverways and sometimes even near the beaches
My dodo bird killed one of these because he could not reach him. That is the power of the dodo.
dude, these are such underrated beginner tames! i tamed my first one when i was level 20 and it has been with me all the way to end game! once leveled up well these speedy tank like damagers are great for the swap, lakes and beaches. the only bad thing is if you do take early level you have to wait for its saddle at level 35.
The sarcos is probably the best early to mid game mount it’s high health and stamina make it a pretty fast mount and it levels up pretty fast also not to mention its stamina and health stats level up pretty quick if you were to upgrade them Sarcosuchus are semi aquatic animals meaning the are both land and sea creatures hope this helped
this is my 1st dino I tamed in my world since I spawned in south zone 2 and as soon as I spawned I heard light stomping and heavily breathing behind mend I did the spinning technique, knocked him out, fed him narcoberries, and tamed him. (I also killed few other sarcos in the area for prime meat.)
These guys are not actually as strong as you may think they are. If you see a sarco fighting 2 or more low to mid lvl Carbonemys do not try to tame it cuz it will die (or at least get too low for you to tranq without killing it). I have never seen any sarco win a 1v2 against Carbonemys, including the lvl 95 sarco that tried to spawn camp my thatch house when I was just starting and later the lvl 130 sarco that I planned on taming :(
